It is with great sadness that we are announcing the Closure of Highland Holistic.
Last Day 20th April 2025 (Last treatment day -12th April)
HH was born after lockdown following a dream Aileen had to be able to help people that were struggling with life's ups and downs or looking to de-stress and relax.
This dream grew from treating a few friends and family members in our living room to having our own treatment room and therapists working hard to treat all you lovely people over the course of the
past 4 years.
We were confronted with all the usual challenges of running a small business but continued to battle through them whilst repeating the mantra " It's just a phase, it will pass".
The biggest challenge we faced was finding a perfect and permanent home...and then we did!
Woodlands Glencoe have been amazing this past year by providing us with the most beautiful treatment space and location to relieve all your aches and pains in and we cannot be more grateful for all the love and support their staff have shown us. We have been made to feel part of the family since day 1.
The reality for us is the harder we worked and the busier we became the more it
impacted our own health, happiness and our family. It was like being on a hamster wheel that only ever got faster.
This past month we have being soul searching for solutions and ways to continue so that we can take the foot off the pedal but the reality for us is that the busier we became the harder it was becoming to apply the brakes and stop.
We were recently presented with the following quote and we instantly knew what needed to be done.
"The longer you stay on the wrong train, the harder it is to get back home"
We currently have over 6 months of bookings in our system and two little girls and a puppy who aren't going to stop growing or wait for us as parents to find the miracle fix that brings their Mummy and Daddy back home to play, read and have fun. Their lives have sadly been dominated by two stressed out parents trying to fit in the next client, telling them to stop making noise so we can answer the phone or figure out how to dry 2 loads of towels by the morning on a wet winters night!
So we are getting off this train now whilst we are still able and returning home to our children who need us.
We will be forever grateful to all our loyal clients that have stuck with us over the years as we have navigated this crazy world of business.
We hope you are all feeling better for our healing touch, and caring ear over the years and wish you all the love in the world on your own journeys in the future.
For us it was never about just giving a massage and we hope we have left that as a lasting impression.
Lastly we would like to thank all who have worked with us over the years.
Over the coming weeks Paul will have the un-enviable task of working through our diary and cancelling over 6 months worth of bookings. Those of you who have paid online will of course be refunded via stripe. We are not sure exactly how long this process will take so please bear with us. There is no automagical button to do this just good old fashioned manual admin! Rest assured in the background it is getting done.
Those with valid vouchers will be given first refusal to use them in the coming days.
For those who can't book in with us the voucher can only be refunded to the person who bought it.
It is not possible to refund expired vouchers sorry.
