Your body has done something incredible—now it’s time to heal gently and intentionally. Here are some key reminders for those early days and weeks:
🛌 Rest is essential – take it slow and accept help.
🚶♀️ Gentle movement – aids circulation and recovery, try to avoid overdoing it.
❤️🩹 Wound care matters – keep the incision clean and dry and look out for redness, swelling or increased pain.
🥗 Nourish & hydrate – healing needs good food & plenty of fluids.
🩲 Loose clothing and big pants - helps to keep the area comfortable.
📅 Follow-up care – attend your postnatal checks and ask your healthcare provider questions, no concern is too small.
Finally, healing takes time - be patient and kind to yourself. You’re doing an amazing job 💫
