I’ve had a few enquiries lately asking if you can take baby with you to your appointment..

And of course the answer is YES!!

It might mean we have to adapt things a little if baby needs a feed or a cuddle and please note the treatment room is upstairs so if you need help getting up the stairs please let me know.

I love when your littles come to visit me and I will do everything I can to make your appointment as comfortable and relaxing for both of you.

So if you are longing for a massage to ease those tired and achey muscles, but can’t (or don’t want to) leave your baby then I’ve got you Mama 🫶

✨ C-section Recovery: Early Days & Weeks ✨

💛 From a midwife and Caesarean scar therapist 💛

Your body has done something incredible—now it’s time to heal gently and intentionally. Here are some key reminders for those early days and weeks:

🛌 Rest is essential – take it slow and accept help.
🚶‍♀️ Gentle movement – aids circulation and recovery, try to avoid overdoing it.
❤️‍🩹 Wound care matters – keep the incision clean and dry and look out for redness, swelling or increased pain.
🥗 Nourish & hydrate – healing needs good food & plenty of fluids.
🩲 Loose clothing and big pants - helps to keep the area comfortable.
📅 Follow-up care – attend your postnatal checks and ask your healthcare provider questions, no concern is too small.

Finally, healing takes time - be patient and kind to yourself. You’re doing an amazing job 💫

A client testimonial this week reminded me that healing after birth isn’t always just physical ❤️‍🩹

For many mums, the emotional recovery can be the part that no one talks about. The fear, the exhaustion, the grief for the birth you imagined, and the overwhelming love for the baby in your arms can all exist at the same time.
