A job where no two days are the same and time flies.How many jobs could include an evening at the circus or the theatre? Station Road Independent Living is home for two young people with high care needs.They are looking for additional support workers to join a team working in a purpose built home. The week is busy as both young people enjoy a wide range activities - includes Boccia,music lessons,choir, ,creative writing/education activity, meeting with friends, family visits, hydrotherapy, physio, speech and language therapy, music therapy, bonfires,walks, arts and crafts,cooking, stories ,gaming using assistive technology and anything else the team come up with . They are looking for people with a passion for person centred care who can share the fun while delivering high standards of support in a well resourced environment.A driving licence is essential . A variety of shifts can be considered . Training is provided from health professionals and by experienced team members. Current pay rates £13.13ph weekdays,£ 13.70 ph weekends and £11.44ph sleep ins.

TEAM LEAD COMPLEX CARE
Station Road Independent Living (close to the M4/M5/M32 on the outskirts of Bristol) is a property uniquely designed and created in collaboration with two young people with complex physical difficulties.

This unique opportunity requires an energetic, organised and motivated individual to take on the full time, Team Leader / Manager role. The Team Leader / Manager will support the young people through the next phase of their lives into independent living. You will motivate and manage your team to provide person-centred support to the young people. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing a safe environment and coordinating complex care in a well-resourced, proactive provision.

“Working at this project has provided me with ever increased inspiration around the concept of person-centred care. The young people lead such enriched and varied lives which are guided by them” Staff feedback.

Your duties will include:

Responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of personal support and service delivery.
Promoting a person-centred culture.
Develop and manage a dynamic support team.
Ensuring relevant legislation, policies and standards are adhered to.
