TRC is holding a Reiki Fest in Glastonbury at the end of July. It will be held in The Goddess Centre. This event will be free to TRC members. Reiki Master Teacher 1-day practical training this Friday 27th Feb in Manor Hall BS36 2TG. This is part of the overall Reiki Master Teacher course which also has distance and on-line training. This course also has full information on the National Occupational Standards for Reiki and the verification process for those wishing to give Reiki on a professional setting i.e. hospital/hospice etc.

For any organization looking for a speaker, in addition to doing Happy Handbag talks I also give talks on Complementary Therapies, highlighting Reiki, and the progression of Reiki from being a Folk Art to being listed in the Government backed CNHC register. TRC is a verifying organisation for Reiki Council and CNHC for those Practitioners wanting to be in this register.

As TRC I do talks to local groups on Reiki and it evolving from being a Folk Art to there now being National Occupational Standards for the giving, and teaching of Reiki. This progression has enabled some Reiki Practitioners to offer Reiki in both hospices and hospitals. Lovely day at Manor Hall, Coalpit Heath, BS36 2TG, last week. Well done to the local Time 4 Carers management to organize sessions for carers. I met some lovely people, giving them Reiki and Indian Head Massage sessions. It's great when organization like Time 4 Carers give something to the actual carers..........
