Alexander Buchan & Son is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279). We are a member of the NAFD (National Association of Funeral Directors) so you are assured of a sympathetic and understanding service. We are also a member of SAIF (National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors). Our office and rest rooms are located in Fraserburgh. We also have another office, Buchan Funerals, in Mintlaw. Both of which cover the whole of the North East of Scotland and offer a full 24 hour service. Our aim is to treat every funeral with our fullest care and attention and to be there for you in time of bereavement. Darling husband of Linda, devoted dad of Sara, Fiona & the late Shona, loving granda to Finley & Carlene & great-granda to Evie, respected father-in-law to Brian and to Fiona’s partner Matthew, a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin & good friend to many. Acknowledgement – Alan, Linsey and family would like to thank everyone for the kind messages, calls, flowers and sympathy they received on the recent sad passing of our Dad/Grampa, Stuart Clark Lowe. We really appreciated the opportunity to celebrate his life and share the stories with those that attended his service and teas at Fraserburgh Golf Club. Special thanks to Rhoda Mcdonald for her personal eulogy; to Stewart Whyte for singing ‘Caledonia’; to Bob Forman for reading ‘An Honest Man’; to Pauline Buchan for playing the piano and in particular to Zander at Alexander Buchan and Son Funeral Directors who made a tough time so much easier for all our family. Thank you to all the team at Fraserburgh Golf Club for the use of your facilities and the tasty soup and sandwiches afterwards. For those that travelled near and far to pay your last respects, your presence was much appreciated. An incredible £400 was raised towards the development of Junior Golf at Fraserburgh Golf Club and a Memorial Shield will be organised by the Junior Convenor Craig Stephen for the Rosehill Juniors to play for each year !
