💊 🚁 ⛑️ One of our Pharmacist's daughter has a rare medical condition in which she has needed the help of the air ambulance on more than 1 occasion. The staff at Porter Pharmacy Fraserburgh have been inspired to help and take on the challenge of 100 miles in May for Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance and we would really appreciate your help. ⚠️ MEDICATION RECALL ALERT ⚠️

Ramipril 10mg Capsules manufactured by Crescent Pharma Limited are being recalled as a precautionary measure (Batch Number GR174091).
Some cartons of Ramipril 10mg Capsules may contain blister strips of Ramipril 5mg Capsules

Ramipril is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure and kidney disease. Taking a lower dose than prescribed is expected to have a gradual rather than immediate or life threatening impact, but it is still important to act promptly.

🔍 What to check:
Check the blister strips inside your Ramipril 10mg carton. The correct strips should be labelled “10mg” and contain light grey and dark green capsules marked with “R” on the cap and “10” on the body. If your strips are labelled 5mg, you have the wrong medication.

We have recently been informed that a certain brand of Ramipril 5mg capsules has been recalled by the manufacturer.

We have attempted to contact all patients who have received this medication from us within the last 28 days. If you have not been contacted by us and believe your medication may be affected, please contact the pharmacy on 01346 513395.

Due to the current road conditions, our delivery service is limited. Our delivery driver is trying her best to carry out essential deliveries.

So happy to have been asked to donate to the ladies at Benaiah, wishing all the girls and staff a blessed, safe & healthy Christmas 🥰🎅🏼🎄✨

Our Benaiah residents have received lovely Christmas gift bags – packed with the likes of toiletries and skincare products – kindly donated by Porter’s Pharmacy in Fraserburgh.

At this time of year, people, churches and businesses are incredibly kind to our residents at our centres and we as a team at Teen Challenge North East Scotland appreciate this so much.

Festive Opening Hours 🎄🎅🏼✨

Please note that the pharmacy will be closed on the following dates:
- 25th of December
- 26th of December (Reduced opening hours of 10am-12pm)
- 1st of January
- 2nd of January

If your regular weekly prescription/dosette collection falls on any of these dates, please collect your medication on the Wednesday prior. This will ensure you have your medication available over the holiday period without interruption to your treatment😊
