🌟 PATIENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🌟

❀️ Your Heart Matters ❀️

πŸ“ž Over the next few days, some of our patients will receive a phone call inviting them to attend a heart and artery health check. This check helps us identify any risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD) early β€” before problems develop.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦° Our CVD Nurse Led Clinics will be running from Tuesday 17th February.

πŸ€” Feeling fine? You may still be at risk without realising it.

πŸŽ₯ Watch the video below to find out why attending this appointment is so important for your long‑term heart health.

β€οΈπŸ«€ Your heart matters β€” let’s look after it together! πŸ«€β€οΈ

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

The HPV vaccine protects against the main causes of cervical cancer, but it doesn’t protect against them all. So even if you’ve had the HPV vaccine, it’s still important to go for cervical screening.

High blood pressure is the biggest risk factor for stroke. It causes about half of all strokes.

This the Stroke Association is encouraging all adults to check their blood pressure regularly and find out about the causes of high blood pressure, so they can make informed decisions about their health.

There’s information on the causes of high blood pressure at www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/cardiovascular-disease/risk-factors-for-cardiovascular-disease/high-blood-pressure-hypertension

Why do GP Practice receptionists ask questions?

It’s not about being nosyβ€”it’s about getting you the right care, just like an ambulance call handler needs details to send the right help. Receptionists and call navigators work under the same strict confidentiality rules as your doctor. Sharing a little information helps us help you faster and better.

Help us help youβ€”answering a few questions makes a big difference.
