Do you have any NHS Walking Aids at home?

We’re currently looking to collect NHS walking aids (like the one shown in the photo) that may be sitting unused at home. If you have one in excellent condition and no longer need it, we’d be happy to take it off your hands free of charge.

Please drop any suitable walking aids off at our reception.

Thank you for your support!

📢 PATIENT ANNOUNCEMENT – EYE PROBLEMS

If you are experiencing any eye-related issues, please remember that your first point of contact should ALWAYS be your local optician – not your GP.

🔍 You can find a list of local opticians here:
👉 NHS Inform – https://www.nhsinform.scot/scotlands-service-directory/opticians/

👁️ Optometrists are specially trained to assess and manage eye conditions. They will triage your symptoms and offer an appropriate appointment if needed.

They can also refer you directly to specialist services if required – without needing to see your GP first.

Thank you for helping us ensure you get the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

**PATIENT NOTICE**

We regret to inform you that due to an unexpected road closure on the main road today, the ARI driver was unable to collect any blood samples from the practice.

Unfortunately, this means that all blood tests taken today could not be processed. As a result, patients who attended for a blood test will need to have it repeated.

We understand how frustrating and inconvenient this is, and we are genuinely very sorry. This situation was entirely out of our control, and the last thing we would ever want is for our patients to go through the process again unnecessarily.

Our reception team will be contacting those affected to reschedule appointments as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding, and again, we sincerely apologise for the disruption.

We strive to maintain a safe, clean, and accommodating environment for all who visit our health centre. As part of this commitment, we have provided complimentary items in the public toilet facilities for patient use.

Regrettably, we have experienced two recent incidents in which these items were deliberately placed into the toilets, causing significant blockages and disruption to services. Such misuse is unacceptable and undermines the respect we expect within our premises.

As a consequence, we will be removing all complimentary items from the public toilet areas. Should further incidents occur, we will have no choice but to consider the closure of these facilities to the public.

We ask all patients to treat our facilities, staff, and fellow visitors with courtesy. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to supervise children to ensure responsible use of the premises.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us preserve a respectful and functional environment for everyone.

📢 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘

We regret to inform our patients that, due to a combination of maternity leave, annual leave, and unexpected staff sickness, our practice nurse appointments will be significantly reduced over the coming weeks.

We sincerely apologise to those who have experienced multiple appointment changes. We understand how frustrating this can be and truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Unfortunately, this situation is beyond our control. As a result, some routine appointments and chronic disease reviews may be delayed.

We are doing everything we can to manage the situation and minimise disruption. Thank you for bearing with us.
