Our residents made the most of the lovely sunshine, and it was an extra‑special afternoon for Moira 💛

She recently received a wonderful gift — a set of caterpillars that she has been carefully watching grow and transform over the past few weeks. Everyone has enjoyed following their progress with her, sharing in the excitement as they changed day by day 🐛➡️🦋

Today was the big moment… it was time to release the butterflies! Watching them flutter into the sunshine was truly heart‑warming and brought smiles to residents and colleagues alike 🌼✨

What a wonderful afternoon we had at Crimond Care Home, as our Easter concert filled the room with music, laughter and plenty of smiles 💛✨

The incredible Diamond Memories treated everyone to fantastic live music that had residents and colleagues singing along and tapping their toes 🎤🎵

Our talented chef Dawn delighted everyone with delicious cupcakes 🧁, and our much‑loved pop‑up milkshake bar made a welcome return — adding an extra touch of fun and flavour to the day 🥤🌼

Moments like these truly bring our home together and create memories we all cherish.

We had a fantastic Easter‑themed afternoon, starting with egg painting, where our residents got wonderfully creative with colours, patterns and plenty of imagination! 🎨🌼

Afterwards, we kept the fun going with a lively game of bingo — and of course, the prizes were all chocolatey Easter treats! 🍫

There were lots of laughs, happy cheers and plenty of friendly competition as everyone joined in.

We’ve been busy getting into the Easter spirit with a wonderful afternoon of Easter bonnet decorating and seasonal crafts! Residents had great fun choosing ribbons, flowers, colours and all sorts of cheerful decorations to make their bonnets beautifully unique. 💛

Alongside the bonnets, we enjoyed a range of Easter crafts, filling the room with creativity, conversation and plenty of springtime smiles. 🐰🌷✨

We marked National Whisky Day with a lovely whisky‑tasting session, giving our residents the chance to sample a few different varieties and enjoy the rich aromas, flavours and stories behind each one. 💛

There was plenty of chat, laughter and thoughtful sipping as everyone compared their favourites and shared memories connected to Scotland’s much‑loved spirit. A relaxed and enjoyable afternoon all round! 🌼🥃

🎨 Design the Meallmore Whisky Label 2026 🥃

Last year, a resident named John painted a sunrise.

That painting became our whisky label.
Over 500 people voted for it.
And today, that bottle tells a story - of creativity, community and connection.

Sadly, John passed away in the summer of 2025, but his artwork lives on. His label, Leven Sunrise, is now part of Meallmore history and a reminder of why we run this competition every year.

Our residents were delighted to welcome Sapphi, our wonderful therapy pet, for a visit that brought so many smiles and moments of pure joy 🥰✨

Sapphi’s calm nature and gentle cuddles created a lovely atmosphere throughout the home, offering comfort, companionship and lots of happy interactions. These visits truly brighten everyone’s day 🌟🐶

We wrapped up Hydration Week with a treat — our very own pop‑up milkshake bar! 🍓🥤🍌 Residents enjoyed choosing their favourite flavours and toppings after an afternoon of celebrating Meallmore’s amazing achievement. 🎉💛

There were lots of smiles, plenty of chatter and some very impressive milkshake creations! A refreshing and fun way to end a brilliant week focused on staying hydrated while enjoying every moment together. 🌼

✂️💙 A Lovely Treat for Our Gentlemen! 💙✂️

We were delighted to welcome Boya’s Barber into the home, and a huge thank you goes to Burhan for his incredible work! 🙌

Our residents absolutely loved him; we had lots of happy gentlemen proudly showing off their fresh haircuts and clean shaves. 😄✨

We’re very fortunate to now offer this service on a more regular basis, alongside visits from our wonderful hairdresser Fiona, helping ensure everyone can enjoy the style and care they prefer. 💛
