These gatherings offer a relaxed space for families to connect, ask questions and share experiences, all while enjoying a warm cuppa and good company. It’s always heart‑warming to see everyone coming together to support one another 💛

Our residents had another fantastic session with Lee, who always brings such brilliant energy and encouragement to every class ✨

There were smiles, stretches and plenty of fun as everyone joined in and kept active in a way that feels enjoyable and uplifting. These sessions are a real highlight — boosting confidence, movement and wellbeing for all 🌼💛

What does it actually mean to be a nurse?

Not the job description.
Not the uniform.
Not the “no two days are the same” line.

The real answer.

For International Nurses Day 2026, we sat down with nurses from across Meallmore and asked them a few simple questions about what nursing means to them.

Their answers said everything.

It’s compassion when someone needs reassurance.
It’s clinical skill when decisions matter.
It’s patience on the difficult days.
It’s leadership when a team needs guidance.
It’s knowing someone’s routine, their family, their worries, their sense of humour.

In care homes, nurses do so much more than deliver care.

They build trust.
They support families.
They lead teams.
They protect dignity.
They help make our homes feel like home.

So today, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible nurses across Meallmore who bring their knowledge, kindness and calm presence into our homes every single day.

A fitting tribute to an amazing profession - and to the people who show what nursing really means. 💙

We had a fantastic time with a bit of pizza‑making fun in the home! Our residents rolled, topped and created their very own delicious masterpieces — and the smiles said it all 💛👩‍🍳🧀

From choosing favourite toppings to sharing a few laughs along the way, it was a lovely activity that brought everyone together. And of course… the best part was enjoying the tasty results afterwards! 🍕✨

Our residents enjoyed a wonderfully lively sensory session during this week’s Move & Groove, complete with colourful pom‑poms and magical light‑up wands ✨🌈
The room was filled with smiles, laughter and singing, creating such a joyful atmosphere for everyone involved 💛

What a fantastic afternoon we had in the garden, marking International Dance Day with a wonderful outdoor concert from the talented Amanda Penny 🎶✨
Our residents loved every moment — from the music to the movement, the sunshine to the smiles. The garden was full of energy, laughter and that lovely sense of togetherness we cherish here at Crimond 💛🌼

A huge thank you to Amanda for bringing such joy to our home. A perfect way to celebrate through music and dance 🎵💃
