Sadly at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Tuesday May 12th 2026, Duncan aged 85, a much loved dad of Stephen and Richard, dearly loved father-in-law of Joan and Kerry, cherished grandad to Shane, Reece, Thailer, adored great grandad to Ritchie, Sam and Olivia, dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a good friend to many.

Funeral service to be held at the Fraserburgh Leisure Centre on Monday May 25th at 11am thereafter interment Kirkton Cemetery to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please, but if so desired a donation can be given at the Hall door in aid of The Summers Ward, Peterhead Hospital.

The family would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their kind expressions of sympathy following the sad loss of Alex. Thanks to Paul and staff of Fraserburgh Funeral Services for their professionalism and guidance. Sincere thanks to Rhoda McDonald for her touching service and to Pauline Buchan for playing the organ beautifully in church. We thank Pink Petal for the pretty flowers and Inverallochy Golf Club staff for the lovely teas. We would also like to thank the carers who did an excellent job while tending to Alex in his last few months and to Roxburghe House, Aberdeen for the expert care he received in his final few days.
