Some more ear wax removals from my lovely patients.

Please remember to get your ears checked before your hearing test. Since the beginning of March, 12 people in total have been turned away because of blocked ears and the Audiologist have not been able to test their hearing. A few of my patients ended up feeling, that the main issue was the wax and they can actually hear again !!

If your loved one has an audiologist apt for a hearing test, PLEASE remember to get your ears checked before the apt. This week 5 people have now had to rebook their apts as the audiologist where unable to carry out the tests due to wax.

Also a reminder to hearing aid users to have a check-up before your Audiology appointment. Have had a few patients who have been turned away in the last few weeks because of build-up. Then waiting a further 6 to 8 weeks to get an appointment to have their hearing finally tested.

A reminder for hearing aid users !!!!
Please remember to get your ear health check up before your audiology appointment. I have been contacted by quite a lot of patients who have gone to their appointment only to be turned away due to build-up wax. It then means that your hearing test can not be performed. This is time lost and costly for both patient and audiologist. Please get in touch for a home visit for an ear heath check-up (£30), before your appointment so you're not turned away like other patients.

Wax removed from lovely patients who have had trouble from hearing, whistling hearing aids, who use cotton buds to clean there ears 😲 and a person who had a problem with one ear only to find the other ear was completely impacted. The last one is amazing with all the hairs inside the plug.
