Age sneaks up on you and time goes so fast, I'm finding it more important to spend time with my parents especially in nature.

As i walk with my parents individually, its a kind of living map. Their childhood memories of similar places, their wisdom about the local flora, the way their eyes track a distant bird—these details transform the landscape from a nice walk into a layered story. I am not just walking with them, but with the history they carry.

They are the most deeply known piece of my natural world. And here, surrounded by the simple, enduring beauty of the earth, I feel a quiet, absolute gratitude for their enduring root in my life.
