Thankyou to those that have donated, it means alot, these are some recent walks, I walk most days so some are not recorded, still have many more to tick of my list including mam tor, great ridge & kinder scout in May and hopefully haystacks & dragons back and Melvern hills as the weather gets nicer.

Fighting for Every Beat: Dad's Story.

​On March 15th 2025, our lives changed in a heartbeat.

​My wonderful loving dad suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. In those first few critical moments, my brother became a hero, performing CPR until emergency services arrived. It took six shocks from a defibrillator to bring his heart back into a rhythm.

​The days that followed were the hardest we have ever faced. Dad was intubated and placed into an induced coma, his life hanging in the balance. But Dad has always been a fighter. With pure strength, incredible determination, and the help of specialized care and life-saving heart technology, he did the unthinkable—after just three days, he fought his way back to us.

​Why am I raising money

​We are the lucky ones. We know that without the years of research funded by the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the technology and expertise that saved Dad simply wouldn't exist.

​From the defibrillator that shocked his heart back to life, to the specialized treatments in the ICU, BHF-funded research sits at the heart of it all. I am raising money to:

• ​Fund life-saving research into heart and circulatory diseases.

• ​Support the development of new technologies that give families like ours a second chance.

• ​Raise awareness for CPR training—because, as we learned, every second counts.

One year milestone of my dads cardiac arrest, a massive milestone. It’s a 365-day victory lap that wasn't guaranteed, that has carried a lot of weight—relief, gratitude and more personal feelings but... i am in such awe at his strength.

If you are going through this finding people who "get it" without you having to explain the trauma is a vital part of healing. Here are the most reputable resources and support networks for families in the UK.

​1. Sudden Cardiac Arrest UK (SCA UK)
​This is arguably the most active community for families. They focus specifically on the unique challenges of life after a cardiac arrest, rather than general heart disease.

2.British Heart Foundation (BHF)
​The BHF provides the clinical "backbone" of support. While less focused on peer-to-peer chat, they are excellent for the "how and why" questions that keep you up at night.

Most importantly be there for each other, ask the questions, get yourself CPR trained that may save another's life.

A fantastic hike today, this stretch from Lulworth to the heights above Durdle Door ( which is a bit famous! ) is stunning.

It’s a moderate trail, but those limestone climbs are steep in places and will definitely test your lungs. And definitely wear sensible footwear.

​This part of the Jurassic Coast i believe is easily one of the most epic walks in the UK.

​Tip: Once you’ve conquered the lulworth to durdle door head up the steep hill ahead to scratchy bottom it'll be worth it, afterwards head straight to The Boat Shed at Lulworth Cove for a coffee or icecream then up a few more paths and scrambles to the Stairhole for more views of the coast and lulworth cove from another angle.

Well 2025 was probably one of the most biggest rollercoasters of my life...and the most healing... ( still always learning! )

2025 was the year I learnt to navigate my feelings..the year I learnt to carry shock, trauma, grief, joy, sorrow, anxiety, courage, happiness, and a heart full of love, all at once 💛

This year taught me that whenever life felt like 'too much,' the earth was there to remind me I am enough. From the quiet trails, to the loudest oceans, nature was the reset button.

Ending the year with dirt on my boots and more peace in my heart.

Thank you for trusting me with your journeys in 2025. Watching you find your footing and reclaim your calm has been the greatest highlight of my year from treating adults to little ones.

I will be bringing even more therapies, tools, and spaces designed to help you breathe deeper and live more peacefully.
