We helped our Care Professionals and Key Players practice some self care this week with a wonderfully relaxing breathwork session from Essex Menopause Coach, Julie Court. 😌🧘‍♂️

Our training room was transformed into a room of calm with yoga mats, blankets and pillows whilst Julie talked us through some practical tools for regulating the nervous system and finding a place of calm through our breath. 😇

Julie also shared her knowledge about how the Menopause can impact on us physically and emotionally. Everyone came away feeling calm, centred and with some top tips to deal with those challenges that we face day to day.

It's great to be able to offer these nurturing wellbeing sessions to our fantastic team, who do some much to care for others.

Our companionship calls make the world of difference to the clients we support. Our Care Professionals love nothing more than hearing the stories of their clients, sharing interests, and helping to put the world to rights. 😊

Today in partnership with Kinder Essex Tendring we supported some home alone seniors to enjoy conversation and companionship at one of our Vintage Afternoon Tea events at Aldanat Community Hub in Weeley. Everyone agreed its good to talk 👄👂

Olivia is new to care, having previously worked in sales. She's also mum to 19-month-old Mabel. She’s chosen a career in care because she feels it will be truly rewarding and will fit well around raising her young family. 💙

Today we enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea at Frinton Gospel Chapel. A big thank you to Charlotte, Pete and Julie, for hosting our event so warmly, and to our wonderful team of volunteers for providing first class transport and support to our guests. We were also lucky enough to have Colin and Kerry from Precision Optics Eyewear along offering their free eyewear clean and adjustment service. What a truly community spirited afternoon we shared. ☕️🍰

These events provide a relaxed and welcoming opportunity for older people to get out, socialise, and feel part of their community.
