Hi All
The Forest will be closed on Monday 15th September due to the high wind speeds(gusts) that are forecast, and are above our safety parameters, and the weather warning which is in place

Once conditions improve, we shall begin the safety checks of our waymarked trails, if this isn’t possible tomorrow these will be carried out first thing on Tuesday. As always, our intention is that we will open the forest once these have been completed.

We shall of course keep you updated on any developments throughout the day, and most importantly when we envisage the Forest being reopened as normal.
