We all want to feel good about ourselves and enjoy life to the fullest and for many, consistent daily yoga practice is already contributing to a happier, healthier more joyful way of being. My passion is to share with everyone how simple steps, taken every day, can lead us all to a life of deeper connection, peace and happiness. I have been helping people live happy and fulfilling lives through the practices of yoga since 2008. After feeling transformed from my very first yoga class way back in 2002, I ventured into the world of yoga and found myself on a path of self-discovery that would change my life forever.

I’m home from a truly transformational retreat in rural Spain.
I’ll be extending my time off from teaching my Monday night class until 29th September as I need a bit of time to let the experience sink in.
If you are booked onto the 15th or 22nd I will email you directly tomorrow to arrange swapping you to another class.

New season, 🍂 new hair!
I’m going on a retreat on Saturday and will be completely unplugging. Hoping this will help my back heal.
All being well my Monday class starts back on 15th September, with a few spots left.

I’d like to say a really big thanks to everyone who has been present at my classes lately. The turn out through summer has been brilliant and I can’t wait to practice with you as we move into the next season. 🍂
Next year marks 24 years since I first tiptoed into a yoga class and as I head toward my mid- forties, its only really now that I can see the true value in the lessons it’s taught me. ✨
I’m seeing with clarity how yoga was always supposed to be a part of my life and how it’s lead me to where I am now. 🌀
I’m so excited for more, teachings, insight and revelations and if I’m meant to be, many more years of sharing these practices with you. ⭐

Time to myself to move my body and put a lovely class together for my group tonight. I’m heading to Anglesey at the weekend so i’m inspired by water to help me find some fluidity in my spine with a gentle flow.

My Monday evening class at the lovely scout hut will continue to run through the summer.
Often our summers can be filled to the brim with activities with no time to stop and ask ourselves what do I need right now?
If we did, the answer would likely be alone time, space to breathe, time to take a nap, a quiet walk on my own, a chance to feel.
My classes are a space for you to nourish yourself and meet yourself where you are.
Over the last few weeks I have kept things very slow, purposeful, gentle and close to the ground.
We have explored breath work, bodywork and relaxation to calm agitation, rest tired muscles and soothe frayed nerves.
I know that coming to a class is just another thing to do, but I promise you will feel completely put back together and restored when you leave.

I teach one to one and group yoga classes in Cheshire; including Yoga Classes in Frodsham, Yoga in Helsby and classes for Yoga in Winsford. Since 2008 I have taught yoga to varied groups in a class setting, as well as yoga workshops and weekend yoga retreats in North Wales and the Lake District.
My style of teaching is hatha flow with an focus on safe structure and alignment. I enjoy creative sequencing to challenge and inspire you to move your body to the guidence of the breath, resulting in you feeling physically lighter and rejuvenated and mentally focused and calm. Mindfulness and somatic awareness are emphasised throughout each practise to assist in the release of tension from body/mind.
I look forward to helping you explore the healing and transformational potential of yoga through movement, breath and relaxation.
Experience and Training
I have been practising yoga and mindfulness since 2002 and began teaching yoga in 2008 when I became a teacher with Yoga Vidya Gurukal in India. I continued to train in mindfulness and prenatal yoga in 2009 and returned to India in 2013 to further my studies. In December 2018 I qualified as a teacher with The British Wheel of Yoga after completing the 500-hour Teaching Diploma over a 3-year period and I recently completed a two day Introduction to Ayurveda workshop with Sarah Beck. My teaching has been influenced by different teachers and traditions over the years, but my main influence has been my teachers Jon Malloy, Nicky Middlehurst and Sarah Beck.
