I am so happy you are here...

We all want to feel good about ourselves and enjoy life to the fullest and for many, consistent daily yoga practice is already contributing to a happier, healthier more joyful way of being. My passion is to share with everyone how simple steps, taken every day, can lead us all to a life of deeper connection, peace and happiness. I have been helping people live happy and fulfilling lives through the practices of yoga since 2008. After feeling transformed from my very first yoga class way back in 2002, I ventured into the world of yoga and found myself on a path of self-discovery that would change my life forever.

Yesterday was the Spring Equinox.

It was also the half way point of my 44 days of chanting the Ganesha mantra.

Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha.

2,376 repetitions so far.

Another 2,376 to go.

44 days is the recommended time for the vibration of the mantra to become deeply established in the body & mind.

I am feeling strengthened by the stillness and silence that follows after the chanting.

I’m asking Ganesha to remove my self-limiting beliefs so that I can be free.

I am already trying new things that I’ve been putting off for a while now, and I can feel a shift within me.

Last night I had to do my chanting propped up on a pillow in the van as we’ve come to Abersoch for the weekend.

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine as much as Inka.

Here’s a quick overview of availability at my classes and events coming up.

•Monday Evening 6:30pm classes are booking up weeks in advance. I’ve limited numbers to 12 over winter due to the other side of the room not having heating, but now it’s warming up I’ll open up some more spaces for you.

The first Monday class with availability is 6th April. This class has the earlier start of 4:30pm because it’s a bank holiday. Jump on quick and grab your spot!

•Tuesday Zoom Yoga 6:15pm is running for the next 4 weeks. If it takes off it will become a permanent class.

•Friday Morning 10am (fortnightly) has been consistently full since starting back in January. Again, I will open up some more spaces for this lovely end of week class.

•Spring Equinox Renewal 28th March is full but please look out for more seasonal workshops being added soon.

•Sunday Evening Reset 5:30pm 12th April will be a glorious mix of gentle movement, breath awareness and relaxation. Spaces available.

•Summer Beltane Retreat 1st May to 3rd -

I have one family room left which has a single bed and a double bed.

I also have one triple room with 3 single beds.

And don’t forget, if you can’t commit to an entire weekend you can join us for the day on Saturday 2nd May.

This will be a 9am arrival with a two hour class lead by Sarah Beck, lunch, free time to explore the stunning surroundings, an evening class with me, dinner and an amazing kirtan with Siward & Co. Head home around 9pm.

It’s absolutely mental to think that it’s only 6 weeks until we meet again on retreat at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge.

It feels like yesterday that we were there for my autumn retreat. Gosh that was such an amazing weekend! ✨

It goes without saying that I can’t wait to welcome you back in May!

We will be joined by our guest teacher Sarah Beck, who will be teaching two sessions focusing on the heart and its ability to connect us with the wider world and our deeper selves; exploring how we can align our heart and mind to create new perspectives.

And I am over the moon to be welcoming Siward Mullens & Co for an evening of their joyous kirtan. Prepare to sing your heart out!!

This weekend is going to be one of celebration - a celebration of the arrival of summer, human connection, laughter, our stories and life. 🌟

I’ve decided to commit to chanting the Ganesha mantra for 44 days - new beginnings, fresh starts, springtime, removing blockages.

So on my way to collect my water I chanted to Ganesha and when I arrived at the tap there were two Brigid’s Crosses, I assume left as an offering to the spring. ☺️

How wonderful to see echoes of the ancient ways right here - acknowledging the sacredness of water, the giver of life.

Now that I can think about Chester without crying I find myself going right back to the beginning.

I brought Chester home to live with me in March 2015. This was a year for big beginnings because not only did I open my life up to him, but this was also the year The Yoga Bank was opened.

I decided to walk away from this in Spring 2016 and it’s only looking back now that I realise Chester came into my life to help me during that hard time. It was all aligned perfectly. ✨

He got me up and out when I wanted to wallow and he made me smile every day with his multitude of quirky ways!

Dogs are incredible aren’t they? ☺️

A little bit about me...

My Classes

I teach one to one and group yoga classes in Cheshire; including Yoga Classes in Frodsham, Yoga in Helsby and classes for Yoga in Winsford. Since 2008 I have taught yoga to varied groups in a class setting, as well as yoga workshops and weekend yoga retreats in North Wales and the Lake District.

My style of teaching is hatha flow with an focus on safe structure and alignment. I enjoy creative sequencing to challenge and inspire you to move your body to the guidence of the breath, resulting in you feeling physically lighter and rejuvenated and mentally focused and calm. Mindfulness and somatic awareness are emphasised throughout each practise to assist in the release of tension from body/mind.

I look forward to helping you explore the healing and transformational potential of yoga through movement, breath and relaxation.
