Hillcrest has a long tradition of providing quality residential care in Frodsham and the surrounding area. Hillcrest is a residential and dementia care home situated on the outskirts of Frodsham in Cheshire. Nestling on the side of Frodsham Hill, it enjoys beautiful views across the Cheshire Plain. We offer the very highest standards of care, aiming to help all residents to enjoy life as fully as

possible. The home is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the modern equipment required to meet the needs of up to 32 residents. We have 3 lounges, 2 dining rooms, a conservatory and a hair salon, as well as an attractive patio area where residents can safely enjoy fine weather. Residents are invited to decorate their room with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings to make it feel more like home.

☀️ A Lovely Day at Hillcrest Care Home 🌸

There’s something special about sunny days at Hillcrest Care Home, and today was no exception. With the sunshine streaming through the windows, spirits were high and smiles were everywhere.

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing morning of flower arranging, creating beautiful, colourful displays that brightened every corner of the home. There’s nothing like fresh flowers to lift the mood 🌼

In the afternoon, the knitting club got together—needles clicking, laughter flowing, and plenty of shared stories along the way. It’s always a joy to see friendships grow over a shared hobby 🧶

And of course, there were plenty of cuddles to go around, making the day feel even more comforting and full of warmth ❤️

Moments like these remind us that it’s the simple things—sunshine, creativity, and connection—that make Hillcrest such a special place to call home.

In Hillcrest’s home, the day began,
With laughter shared from woman and man,
A gentle buzz, a cheerful air,
As Easter joy was everywhere.

The Easter Bunny hopped inside,
With fluffy tail and steps of pride,
He waved hello, brought smiles so wide,
And left sweet moments by each side.

Bright Easter eggs in colours fair,
Were placed with love and thoughtful care,
Of chocolate treats and shiny foil,
Bringing delight and happy spoil.

Easter bonnets, bold and bright,
A joyful, blooming, lovely sight,
With ribbons, flowers, chicks so small,
Each one unique and loved by all.

Families came with open arms,
With gentle hugs and heartfelt charms,
Sharing stories, time, and cheer,
Making memories warm and dear.

And in those moments, soft and true,
Was love in everything they knew,
At Hillcrest, Easter came to stay—
A perfect, bright, and treasured day. 💛

🌼🐣 Springtime Joy at Hillcrest Care Home! 🐣🌼

We’ve had a truly egg-stra special time at Hillcrest Care Home this Easter season! 💛 Our residents have been delighted to welcome some adorable fluffy visitors as we watched our little chicks hatch right before our eyes. 🐥✨

There’s been so much excitement, laughter, and smiles as everyone gathered to see the tiny chicks take their first steps into the world. It’s been a wonderful way to celebrate spring — bringing warmth, new life, and a sense of joy to all. 🌷🌞

Moments like these remind us how the simple things can bring such happiness. Our residents have loved helping to care for the chicks and sharing stories, making this Easter one to remember! 🐣💐

Red Nose Day at Hillcrest

At Hillcrest Care Home, the laughter grew loud,
With red noses shining on each smiling crowd.
The staff danced about in bright, silly flair,
While joy filled the rooms and bounced through the air.

Residents chuckled, eyes sparkling with cheer,
“It’s the best day we’ve had all year!”
With music and giggles and jokes on display,
Hillcrest came alive in a wonderful way.

Then in waddled a pig—oh, what a sight!
An inflatable costume, pink and bright.
It bounced down the hallway with a comical sway,
Snorting out laughter along the way.

Staff couldn’t stop laughing, residents too,
As the pig did a jig (and a little “oink” or two!).
Wheelchairs turned dance floors, hands clapped in time,
Every moment felt joyful, simple, sublime.

From bingo to bubbles to costumes so bold,
These are the stories forever retold.
For fun has no age, and joy never ends,
At Hillcrest Care Home, where laughter’s your friend.

So here’s to red noses and days filled with light,
To kindness and care and spirits so bright.
And a pig in a costume we won’t soon forget—

We’re looking for a Cook to join our warm and welcoming care home team — someone who takes pride in preparing delicious, nutritious food for our residents.
What you’ll be doing:
🍲 Preparing home-style meals and snacks
🥦 Catering to a variety of dietary needs and preferences
👥 Working closely with our care team to create enjoyable mealtimes
🧽 Keeping the kitchen clean and organised to high standards

✅ Experience in a kitchen or catering role (care home experience a bonus!)
