Red Nose Day at Hillcrest
At Hillcrest Care Home, the laughter grew loud,
With red noses shining on each smiling crowd.
The staff danced about in bright, silly flair,
While joy filled the rooms and bounced through the air.
Residents chuckled, eyes sparkling with cheer,
“It’s the best day we’ve had all year!”
With music and giggles and jokes on display,
Hillcrest came alive in a wonderful way.
Then in waddled a pig—oh, what a sight!
An inflatable costume, pink and bright.
It bounced down the hallway with a comical sway,
Snorting out laughter along the way.
Staff couldn’t stop laughing, residents too,
As the pig did a jig (and a little “oink” or two!).
Wheelchairs turned dance floors, hands clapped in time,
Every moment felt joyful, simple, sublime.
From bingo to bubbles to costumes so bold,
These are the stories forever retold.
For fun has no age, and joy never ends,
At Hillcrest Care Home, where laughter’s your friend.
So here’s to red noses and days filled with light,
To kindness and care and spirits so bright.
And a pig in a costume we won’t soon forget—
The happiest Red Nose Day Hillcrest’s had yet. 🐷✨
