Yin yoga. I held these poses for 5 minutes each on both sides. I could really drop into the poses and let go of held tension, at times I could sense a gentle shaking coming in, a way to release deeply held tension and by the last few poses I could completely relax. Feeling good.

In my favourite pose of Dragonfly. I love yin yoga and am grateful for the time it gives me to relax and find space for myself. My classes are interspersed with yin yoga poses. I’m grateful to have been given more learning with Norman Blair in N22 this November. A wonderful experience. 🧘‍♀️

Nature therapy is a big part of my life. It’s a chance to sit and watch colours and movement such as this waterfall in Cornwall. Called the St Nectans Glen waterfall.

A magical place. St Nectan is an old Irish mythology name for water god.

Here I could sit and be immersed in the power of water and let it transport me.

Water is deeply transformative, can take you places and help with letting go.

I left feeling gently nudged to see my own part in a situation and step into change.

Perfect for beginners and experienced yogis who wish to learn and practice in a safe and supportive environment. Postures are held for a number of breaths to aid alignment, strength and flexibility. The programme for Buddhafield festival has dropped and I’m teaching Gentle Hatha in the yoga space on Saturday and Sunday morning at 8-9am -
‘Soften into your practice with time to let the poses do the work, observing and relaxing and letting the gentle challenge unravel held tensions.’
I will also be there as a Karma yogi -(selfless service to the community) so I will be there to ensure all runs smoothly for everyone at the yoga space. Look forward to seeing you there for yoga! Happy days 🌸🧘‍♂️🙏🏻

Easing out the back, waist twist and shoulder release. Feeling the surrendering in the hard to get place between the shoulder blades. Check out the QR code to book onto my class. Most of the time, my practice leads me into playing with certain poses and finding one that hits the sweet spot for today. This one is perfect if you’ve been using your upper body a lot, working, typing, sorting out your desk, looking for the paper clip, try this pose. For a minute or two and let it do its magic.

Taking time to decompress is important. Downward facing dog releases the whole spine and stretches the back of the legs and shoulders. It strengthens the arms and creates an inversion (head lower than heart) - a pose that lets stress flow out into the earth beneath you. And the Earth processes it away.
