Healing doesn’t follow a straight path, and it rarely happens all at once. Some days you’ll feel like you've finally made it through — you're standing tall, breathing deeper, and finding peace in places that once brought pain. Then out of nowhere, a memory, a word, or a quiet moment can pull you right back into the ache you thought you left behind. That doesn’t mean you're weak. It doesn’t mean you've failed. It means you’re human — still growing, still unraveling the pain layer by layer.
There is no shame in breaking down again. Healing isn’t about never hurting — it’s about learning how to carry your pain without letting it carry you. Those low days don’t erase your progress; they’re just part of the process. Each time you fall and choose to rise again, you’re becoming stronger, softer, and more whole than you were before. Give yourself grace. You’re doing better than you think.
