For International Day of Charity, we came together to collect food donations for Frome food bank. 🥰

It was lovely to see family members, team members and friends all pitching in to support local people. A simple way of showing kindness and staying connected with our community.

We marked the festival with a beautiful pookalam, which is a floral design created as part of the celebrations.

Onam celebrates the return of King Mahabali, remembered for his generosity and the prosperity he brought to Kerala.

It’s a great example of our safe and responsive care in action, ensuring our family members can simply enjoy these special moments. 🌞

Treetops is one of Catherine House Care Home's small households that offers 24-hour care in a homely setting.

The home in Frome Somerset provides support for older adults with a wide range of needs, with meaningful activities and a strong sense of community, it’s a place to feel safe, connected and at home.

We welcome residents who are privately funded and our team is here to guide families with sensitivity and care through every step of arranging a move into their new home.

There’s nothing quite like spending a sunny afternoon in the garden. 🌻

We recently shared cucumber sandwiches, strawberry sponge and a cheeky glass of Pimm’s while jazz pianist and vocalist Henry Sampson Jazz Services played for us. Each table had its own theme, from Mad Hatter’s to the seaside, making the setting as memorable as the music.

Barbara called it “tranquil”, Pauline clapped along to every tune, and families joined in to soak up the afternoon.

Moments like these show why the garden here is so special, a space to come together, enjoy familiar tastes and feel right at home.

There’s something special about slowing down and taking in the countryside. Recently, we enjoyed a horse-drawn canal boat trip with the , guided by Monty, a gentle cross-shire horse.

For some of us, it brought back childhood memories of walking along the canals and Sunday picnics. For others, it was simply a peaceful chance to sit together, share stories, and watch the water drift by.

Trips like this mean a lot. They keep familiar routines alive and help us stay connected to our community, proving that life here still feels very much like home.

We headed out to Westonbirt Arboretum recently for a guided visit, exploring the national tree collection with one of the Arboretum’s friendly volunteers. They spent time outdoors, taking in the sights, smells and sounds of the trail, and even brought back a few samples to share back at home. 🎄🥰
