Somatic experiencing for babies is the gentle practice of supporting babies to feel safe, calm, and connected in their bodies through loving, sensory-based experiences.
It includes nurturing touch (like baby massage), responsive movement (like baby yoga), sound, breath, and co-regulation through shared presence. These experiences help babies build secure attachment, emotional resilience, and embodied trust in the world around them.
Babies are born wired for connection—through the body, not the brain. Somatic experiences like massage, rhythm, lullabies, and gentle movement are how babies feel love. These practices help regulate a baby’s nervous system, soothe stress, and support healthy development.
