We know many healthcare providers suggest OTC treatments as first port-of-call, especially for children, but we see the damage done when patients arrive at our clinic.

The bottom line is OTC self-treatments often cause more harm than good. Always seek professional advice from a podiatrist before attempting to treat verrucas on your own.
