Hot Stone Therapy is a uniquely wonderful experience, as smooth basalt stones are heated to a pleasant temperature and used in the palms of the hands to massage the body. Long rhythmic strokes help the mind and body to relax in tandem, relieving tension in the muscles and relaxing tightness in the body, stimulating the circulatory and immune system and aiding the detoxification process. Thus relieving stress and emotional anxiety as the body and mind are inseparably linked. Deep tissue techniques are also incorporated where necessary to relieve specific problems and encourage recovery.
