A charming afternoon of tea, treats, and togetherness, all for a wonderful cause. ☕🍰

Set in our beautiful garden, you can expect delicious nibbles, refreshing brews, and blooming good company. So gather your sun hats, bring your best tea-time spirit, and let’s make some lovely memories! 🥰

Who needs electricity when you’ve got community spirit and sunshine? When the power went out, we didn’t skip a beat, we simply turned it into an adventure! 🔌

We made our way to Field House - Somerset Care in Shepton Mallet and were greeted with the warmest welcome from the wonderful team and the lovely residents, who even made us a personalised welcome sign! 💛

From a morning of singing and dancing to a delicious lunch, followed by cuddles with the cutest baby animals, our day was full of laughter, connection, and pure joy. 🐥💃🍽️

A huge thank you to Field House - Somerset Care for transforming an ordinary power outage into an extraordinary memory. 🌈

Pride and Creativity Unite at Rowden! 🌈🌟

Last week, we proudly celebrated Pride Month with a burst of colour and creativity! 🖌️

Our residents channelled love, inclusivity, and self-expression into stunning rainbow-themed artwork that now brightens up our home. From painting vibrant masterpieces to helping cut ribbons for our dazzling stairway display, every detail was crafted with heart and joy. 🎨🌈✂️

What better way to celebrate cherished traditions and joyful moments than with creativity and connection? Our residents embraced the spirit of Shavuot by crafting beautiful, nature-inspired art featuring butterflies, birds, and blooming themes. 🎨🌳

To top it off, we indulged in an afternoon of pure elegance with a wine and cheese tasting that delighted the senses and lifted spirits. 🍷🧀
Laughter and conversation filled the room as residents savoured delicious flavours and shared good times. 🥂

There's nothing like live music! 🎵

Our residents were entertained by the lovely violinist Sue Lord who came to do a taster session for them. Residents talked a lot about how much they had enjoyed her music and said it was great to hear an Elvis Presley song played on a violin.🎻

We recently took took a fantastic trip to the Hawk Conservancy Trust in Andover with some of our residents 🦅🦉

We spent the whole day looking at all of the different birds of prey and seeing all the flight displays, as well as stopping for a bite to eat.

The residents said they had really enjoyed the trip - one resident, Kath, talked about how much she enjoyed seeing all the vultures. Other residents were particularly taken with African display of birds.
