Fantastic to have completed the third weekend of Advanced Dermatology in Chinese Medicine Training with Mazin Al-Kafaji. The course is a total of 15 full days covering many common skin complaints such as Eczema, Psoriasis, Lichen Planus, Alopecea, Fungal and many more common inflammatory skin conditions seen in clinic.
Chinese Herbal Medicine has been in the spotlight since research in the 80's and 90's showed massive improvements in erythema and surface damage following treatment with Chinese Herbal Medicine. These studies are echoed by my experinece in clinic.

What an amazing trip to China, lecturing at two conferences and speaking at Beijing Chinese Medicine University. Traditional medicine crops up on every corner with clinics everywhere, and herbal medicine appearing in grocery stores as soft drinks, medicines in chemists, and herbal supplies being sold in small local markets. Wonderful to see how it is infused into the culture here.

Back in clinic now with renewed passion for this wonderful medicine!

After 13 years of clinical practice at Turnpike House I'm finally taking down the sign. However, coming at the start of March there will be a brand new clinic in Frome.
The Clinic Frome will be a specialist Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Integrative Health clinic at 16 Palmer St, Frome.

So there's exciting change on the way. My new practice, The Clinic Frome is being prepped over the coming weeks. Gives me a chance to take a break from the needles and herbs for a few weeks at least. Opening in early March!
