“My life is over”
This can feel very real…
When we lose a child or a loved one.
Your sense of identity is shattered.
Grief is not just emotional or psychological
There is a disruption in the nervous system
The brain has gone into panic because there is a break in attachment to the person you love.
Trauma overwhelms the body’s ability to feel safety or hope for the future
You have gone into survival mode and everything feels impossible.
You may feel:

😔 Exhausted
😔 Anxious
😔 Unable to see a way forward
😔 Terrified you will never feel joy again
Healing starts by moving what you feel through the body.
As the nervous system calms down, you can find that sense of safety.
