A little note on client consultation forms 📋

Although I know admin of any form can be eye rollingly tedious, your consultation forms are so SO important, even if you have been to see me before 💗

Here’s why I need you to complete one for each treatment you have with me:

📋 They help me keep you safe, by identifying any medical conditions, injuries, contraindications eg. pregnancy, recent surgery, skin conditions (pre-existing or new) that may affect your treatment or require me to make certain adjustments. This allows me to ensure I avoid techniques or products that could cause harm or discomfort

📋They help me tailor your treatment by giving insight into your current lifestyle, stress levels and areas of tension

📋They inform appropriate pressure, techniques and areas of focus so I can ensure I meet your individual needs for each and every treatment 💫

📋I have a professional and legal responsibility to keep up to date and accurate records on my clients to form part of my duty of care and ethical practice

📋Consultation forms keep open communication between you and I about your preferred treatment outcomes, personal preferences and boundaries

In short, they’re not just paperwork. They help me keep you safe, are the foundation for continuity of care and a totally personalised massage experience 😍💗

Did you know that treatment benefits can last long after your treatment has actually ended? Depending on your lifestyle and how you care for yourself post treatment you could feel noticeable benefits for up to a week post treatment and even longer if you are receiving regular treatments 💫

💕Attended a free counselling session courtesy of the truly incredible , to process what’s going on in my head and help to release it from my body (we are SO lucky to have access to this in Frome 🥹)

💕 Got on top of some personal admin that had been hanging over me for a while

💕 Reinstated regular pension contributions following my Mat leave

💕 Spent quality time with my husband, friends and family 🥹💗

💕 Booked myself a massage

💕 Got on top of my monthly finances and budget so my head feels less cluttered

💕 Walked ( all be it with a 1year old in tow 🫠😅)

Sometimes it’s the little things that aren’t necessarily very exciting that can actually have the biggest impact! I consider all of the above little forms of self care, and most of them were totally free 🫶🏼

The older I get, the more value I see in doing things that also benefit my future self and will bring me peace, happiness and health in years to come 💗

I used to absolutely HATE being asked this in interviews🫠 I’ll be honest, I’ve never had one! Not that I don’t have dreams, intentions and goals for my future and career or that these things aren’t important to me but it’s just not the way I operate.

However, I do think it’s a powerful question to ask yourself. Not only in terms of your career but perhaps most importantly, in terms of your health and wellbeing 🥹 so ask yourself this, in five years time…

~ How do you want to feel in your body?

~ How do you want to feel in your mind?

~ What sort of things do you want to be physically able to do?

Do you want to feel vibrant, healthy, able to move with ease, strong, peaceful and resilient enough to face life’s challenges?

Let’s make planning for our health & wellbeing as important as planning for our career goals 🥲💗

I’ve had an influx of new clients lately so here I am re-introducing myself 👋🏼💗

I’m Ally, I was born in London, raised in Bath, spent a year living and working in Dubai and moved to the beautiful town of Frome eight years ago. I can honestly say it’s the most at home I’ve ever felt in any place 🥹

I trained in massage after struggling for almost 10 years with eating disorders and really not looking after my mental or physical health at all, it sparked (what I didn’t realise at the time) would be the most healing journey of my 30 something years on this planet so far.

The mind blowing mechanics of the human body (alongside inspiring teaching from ) absolutely captivated my attention and gave me an entirely different perspective from which to relate to my own body. Seeing it as something that needed to be nurtured, cared for and supported rather than punished and neglected.

After qualifying and setting up my practice, I went on to train and qualify as a Health Creation Mentor with the incredible Dr Rosy Daniel which gave me an in depth understanding of the holistic approach to health and how to better support not only my own health and wellbeing but also my clients, in all areas of mind, body + spirit.

I have over 7 years experience in bodywork and can hand on heart say it is the most fulfilling work I have ever done 🥹 I adore my job (not to mention my clients)!

My approach is grounded in meeting you where you are, helping you move from whatever is holding you stuck, physically, mentally or emotionally and using the power of touch to take you on a journey to a place where your mind and body can rest, regain balance and ultimately, heal.

After having my first baby 13 months ago I gave up my treatment space (so my son could have a nursery 😅) and now work from my cosy front room 💗

Whether you’re new, or have been here for a while. I appreciate you 💗 thank you for supporting my business and enabling me to do a job I truly love 🥹

Meet Solly 💫

Hey online world, it’s been a while since I’ve seen you 😬
I now have an almost 3 month old!! I don’t know where the time has gone but I thought it was about time I introduced you to our little man, Solomon (aka Solly) William Phillips. Born Friday 1st March at 10.22 am weighing 6lb 11oz ⚖️

Solly has simultaneously turned our world upside down and put it all together again. Entering parenthood has been a ride of unbelievable love coupled with sheer overwhelm and a million feelings in between. To say we’re still finding our feet would be an understatement and I’m sure the learning will be a lifelong journey 🥹💗

I am missing my lovely clients and putting my creative energy into what I love SO much. At the moment I’m not quite sure how the return to work will look (or exactly when it will be) as I navigate various logistical challenges, but know that I will keep you all posted as I figure out returning to work as a mama.

I SO hope you’re all keeping well, I’m sending all my love from my sofa, with my little boy snuggled into my chest, a cup of tea that’s just out of reach and probably gone cold by now, a pile of ever growing washing and hair that most definitely needs a brush 💗

It’s official, I’m now on Maternity Leave! I truly don’t know where the time has gone 😭💗

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all SO very much for your continued support and loyalty, 2023 has been one of my best years to date and that just wouldn’t be possible without all of you. I feel immensely lucky to have such wonderful clients, many of whom have become friends over the years.

I am so going to miss seeing all your lovely faces but this isn’t goodbye, just see you soon 💕 I’m intending to be back September/October time next year, I’ll keep you all updated.
