On September 3rd Venus turns direct in Leo after 7 weeks in the wilderness. She has backtracked from 28° - 12° Leo and between now and October 10 will re-activate these degrees for the 3rd time wherever they are in your chart. Since July 23rd when the Goddess disappeared into the wilderness, you have been faced with aspects of yourself that you normally keep well hidden. Now it’s time to start looking at what you’ve learned from pattern spotting self-sabotaging habits of intimacy, money and self-worth.

At the same time Guru Jupiter stations retrograde in Ta**us until December 31st joining an unusual confluence of no fewer than 7 retrograde planets- Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.3 of the most recent retrogrades-Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus -are in Earth signs Virgo and Ta**us.

There is no mistaking the theme-this Virgo season marks a deep inward turning, a time of intense personal focus, re-evaluation and reckoning in the approach to the midpoint of the astrological year at the Libra Equinox on September 23rd.

~ un bonsai ed~
I did a tricky thing a few months ago and succeeded … on the way home I saw this Bonsai tree - it drew me in as the bulbous roots looked like a really grounded woman sitting in her power. I had been doing a lot of root chakra work and she just really struck me so I took her home to remind me of my strength especially when facing difficult things.
But then I felt awful for the plant having its growth restricted - it seemed the epitome of what I’d just been fighting ! Very quickly she started shedding sooo many leaves.. I just let her do her thing - as she shed leaves my head felt clearer and new growth began shooting out.
I love the way she looks now - simpler - less crowded out - like she can breath.

She always looked like she had a face under that horrible plastic wrap which Im not sure what that is … so .. now Im thinking I want to put one of my little faces on her 🤔🙃
Shall I? Hmmm …

Today’s New Moon at 28 Ta**us is an entry point to finally manifesting and making tangible the huge promise of the Ta**us/Scorpio eclipses of the last 16 months….as long as you’ve left your garbage by the kerb and your outworn roles, plans and beliefs in your museum of history.

Not only is the New Moon in the Buddha’s own sign but on the anaretic Master degree and conjunct Sedna-archetype of resurrection. Gas giant Jupiter and Great Eliminator Pluto are at zero degrees of Ta**us and Aquarius.

Zero is considered a highly karmic degree of the zodiac -the zero-point. This is the field of neutrality where nothing is dark and nothing is light. In the zero-state, creativity is seeded.

This place blew me away.
Had an amazing break in such ancient and unspoilt land. All I could hear every morning was birdsong and the sea rolling in. Encountered my first sky larks.. watched a family of Otters.. caught a flash of a Hare bounding away..
Its somehow very easy to hear the earth speak here. ❤

Beltane Greetings from the Ancient Isles…

Today we celebrate Beltane as one of the Sacred Year’s 8 Points of Light. As Star Navigators, we travel by working with timelines, spirals and portals, creating our lives personally and collectively.

The 8 Points of Light are the 8 sacred turning points of the Spiral :4 Time Gates and 4 Seasonal Gates. The Time Gates occur on: 2/2; 5/5; 8/8; 11/11. The Seasonal Gates are the 2 Solstices when the Earth changes direction in relation to the Sun and the 2 Equinoxes or Balance Points.

Now that we are moving into a new reality, away from time/space journeying that is distorted and linear, marking and aligning with these 8 Points of Light will become even more significant and meaningful.

Beltane is a Fire Festival- the word originates from the Celtic God 'Bel', meaning 'the bright one' and the Gaelic word 'teine' meaning fire. Together they make 'Bright Fire', or 'Goodly Fire' and traditionally bonfires were lit to honour the Sun and encourage the support of Bel and the Sun's light to nurture the emerging future harvest and protect the community.

Flora the May Queen and the May King-the Green Man- are symbols of the Sacred Marriage or Heiros Gamos, the union of Earth and Sky. This is the night of the Greenwood Marriage. It is about sexuality and sensuality, passion, vitality and joy, about conception. A brilliant moment in the Wheel of the Year to fertilise new ideas, hopes and dreams ……

Cosmic Acupuncture…..

Welcome to 2023 and the unknown unknown.It might say January 1st on the calendar but the New Year really begins on January 21/22 at the Aquarian Super New Moon, electrified by Uranus turning direct.

This week, although both Mercury and Mars are retrograde -slowing and delaying action in the outer world - Venus is tangoing with Pluto in the jaws of the Wolf Full Moon as the Sun and Mercury plug into Awakener Uranus and the Node of Fate .It’s going to feel like a session of cosmic acupuncture- as the Uranian high frequency delivers short, sharp shocks of the totally unexpected, complete with flashpoints and breakthroughs.

This Wolf Moon on January 7 is an opening for much-needed emotional clearing and healing. The Cancer/Capricorn axis and planets in your chart have been under enormous stress and transformation ever since Pluto entered Capricorn in November 2008, intensified by the devastation brought by the epochal Saturn/Pluto conjunction in January 2020. The Sun in Capricorn is conjunct retrograde Mercury, with Mars and Uranus also retrograde. The Sun/Moon are square Wounded Healer Chiron in Aries, trine Uranus and the karmic Node of Fate in Ta**us.

If you look closely, you might start to see this wholesale somatic and psychic restructuring as a certain kind of Grace… not the sweet, sugary grace that is the favourite Instagram kind, but a grace that is fierce and wild and has a disassembling energy to it. It’s the Grace of Kali, a raging grace, a creative and destructive reorganisation of consciousness.

We all need some gentleness now. We all need some healing. We all need a rest. It starts with being kinder to yourself and then kinder to others, making the leap to trusting in life again. It can be so easy to lose track of your home base, whether imagined as the palace of the soul, the light of the spirit, or the ventral passageways of the holy human nervous system.

Your wound is not pathology, it is path. It has something to show you that the unbroken could never reveal. When you create a holding space for the shattered pieces to reassemble, they will reveal an unmet doorway.
