Kate Dobson-Ridout ( formerly Charlesworth )is a fully qualified Physiotherapist, specialising in pelvic health, with over 20 years experience both in the NHS and privately. Kate is passionate about her work and works with warmth, dedication, commitment and respect. Pelvic health problems can occur at any time of life for both women and men. Whether your need is:
gynaecological – incontinence, prolapse, pain, post-operative and post cancer treatment
pregnancy related musculoskeletal – bladder, bowel or pelvic floor dysfunction
ante-natal or post-natal – muscle imbalance
dyspareunia – painful sex both midlife and post natal
incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain or constipation
prostate – preparation for & rehabilitation after prostate surgery, pelvic pain & bladder urgency
Your pelvic fitness is key, and Kate can help you with assessment, treatment and advice for your rehabilitation. It’s important to note that pelvic health physiotherapy can alleviate and in many cases cure these symptoms. Moving forward, you will be given advice and lifestyle guidance on good habit formation for diet & exercise, plus support throughout your rehabilitation.
