Citywide Health's new Weight Management Service involves face to face appointments in your local Citywide Health Pharmacy, and uses a clinically proven weight loss solution to help you lose weight. This is a private service, with costing from £160 per month.

Citywide Health now offers a weight management service which includes a 4 weekly face to face support consultation and supply of weight loss medication (details on our website.) This medication is self administered via a simple weekly injection and makes you feel less hungry and reduces cravings. It also slows down the emptying of the stomach to keep you feeling fuller for longer. You need to have a BMI of at least 30, or at least 27 if you have other weight related health problems. The service service starts with the lowest dose and costs £160 every 4 weeks.

Today we say thank you and goodbye to our deliver driver Peter, who retires after 10 years of dedicated service with Citywide Health - Fulford Pharmacy. It's been quite a long road for Peter, making over 30,000 deliveries of medication to our patients in Fulford and the surrounding areas. We're sure that all the patients he's helped over the years, many who are not able to reach the pharmacy, will miss his friendly and helpful manner, but wish him well in his retirement!
