The most wonderful time of the year has arrived, and Banksfield is celebrating all month long!

Our December calendar is overflowing with joy, sparkle, and heart-warming moments for our residents, families, and community.

Here’s what’s happening throughout December:

Christmas Decorations: Our home has been transformed into a festive wonderland.

School Choir Visits: Local students will be spreading festive cheer through beautiful carols.

Christmas Show Choir: A special, spirited performance to bring the season to life!

Christmas PJ Day: Cozy pyjamas and festive fun for everyone.

“Call My Santa” Workshop: Creative Santa-themed crafts and activities.

Santa’s Grotto: A magical visit with Santa himself!

Christmas Party: Music, dancing, and seasonal treats for all.

Banksfield Choir Performance: Our very own choir sharing joyful holiday melodies.

Christmas Raffle: Exciting prizes and plenty of festive spirit.

Christmas Movie Day: All-time favourites with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Santa’s Arrival & Gift Giving: Santa will be dropping by with presents for every resident.

A Day Full of Joy at Banksfield Nursing Home!

What an incredible day we had today! From morning till evening, our home was filled with energy, laughter, and nonstop fun.

- Exercise sessions to get us moving
- Games that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit
- Karaoke that filled the halls with music
- Dancing that kept our feet tapping all day long!

From classic 60s English tunes to vibrant Bollywood hits, the beats kept getting better — and so did the smiles. Our residents and staff danced their hearts out and truly made today unforgettable.

At Banksfield Nursing Home, every day is an opportunity to celebrate life, joy, and community and today was a perfect reminder of that. ❤️

Spooktacular Fun at Banksfield Nursing Home!

What an amazing Halloween party we had this today with Tom( Performed for our lovely residents) Staff, families, and little ones all joined in with the spookiest, funniest, and most creative costumes, from glowing masks to creepy clowns, the atmosphere was simply fang-tastic!

A huge thank you to our incredible staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the day such a success. Your energy and dedication truly brought the spirit of Halloween to life!

We’re also thrilled to share that we raised £40+ in donations, thank you so much to everyone who contributed! Your kindness and support mean the world to us and help us continue creating special moments for our residents and community.

Our residents and staff had a boo-tiful time today preparing for Halloween!

From crafting adorable mini pumpkins and mummified bananas to baking spooky cookies and there’s still more to come!

It’s been a day filled with laughter, creativity, and Halloween spirit.

Our lovely resident, Mr. James, enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating his 96th birthday surrounded by family and friends.
