The hardest part of gifting isn’t finding something.

It’s knowing if it feels right.

That’s usually where people get stuck.

Overthinking.
Second guessing.
Wondering if it’s “good enough”.

The best gifts remove that feeling completely.

They just feel right straight away.

If I had to send a gift this week… this is what I’d choose.

Something simple.

A candle for the evening.
A tea they can sit down with.
Something small but comforting.
Nothing overcomplicated.

Because most people don’t need more “stuff”.

They need a moment.

Something that helps them slow down, even just for ten minutes.

And that’s usually what makes a gift feel like it’s been chosen properly.

I didn’t want to create just another “spring gift box”.

I wanted something that actually feels like this time of year.

Lighter evenings.
Fresh air coming into the house.
A sense of starting again.

The Spring Renewal Gift Box was created around that feeling.

Not lots of things.
Just the right things.

We talk about hygge a lot… but it’s not really about candles or blankets.

It’s about how something feels.

A quiet evening.
A warm drink.
A moment where nothing is expected from you.

This week’s journal is about what hygge really means - and how something so simple can turn into a truly thoughtful gift.

Available on the website now, in the blog section.

I always find there are two types of people when it comes to gifting…

✨ The planner
You’ve already thought about it weeks in advance.
You want it to feel thoughtful, considered… and just right.

✨ The last-minute saver
You’ve remembered (slightly late)… but still want it to feel special, not rushed.

And honestly, both are completely fine.

That’s exactly why we do what we do.

Because whether you’ve planned ahead or you need something quickly…
you still want it to feel like a beautiful gift, not a quick fix.

So tell me, which one are you?

(And no judgement here… I think we’ve all been both at some point 🤍)

Most people don’t struggle with wanting to give a nice gift.

They struggle with knowing what actually feels right.

Not too generic.
Not rushed.
Not something that ends up in a drawer.

That’s usually the point where people give up and go for something easy…
A voucher. A bottle of something. Something that “will do”.

But the gifts people remember are always the same.

The ones that feel like someone has actually thought about them.

That’s exactly why I created our gift boxes.

So you don’t have to second guess it.
Or overthink it.
Or worry whether it’s “good enough”.

It already is.

If you’ve got someone to buy for this week, this is your sign to make it easy on yourself 🤍

We hear a lot about “switching off”, but in reality, it’s rarely perfect.

It’s not always long baths or slow evenings.
Sometimes it’s just finding a small moment in the middle of everything else.

Those small moments matter more than we realise.

What’s something that genuinely helps you unwind?

Some days running a small business looks calm and creative.

Other days it’s testing the same product over and over because it’s not quite right yet.

Adjusting blends.
Changing textures.
Second guessing things.
Starting again.

It’s not always the quickest way to do things.

But it’s the only way I know how to make something I’m actually proud of.

Most gift boxes feel… a bit generic.

You open them and it’s nice, but it doesn’t really feel personal.

That’s exactly what I didn’t want to create.

Every Hygge at Home box is designed to feel like it’s been thought about.

Not just what’s inside… but how it feels to receive it.

Because gifting isn’t really about the items.

It’s about the moment.

Unpopular opinion: most “self care” advice doesn’t actually help.

It’s often just more things to do.
More routines.
More pressure to “get it right”.

When actually… most people are just tired.

They don’t need a perfect evening routine.
They need five minutes where nothing is expected from them.

A quiet cup of tea.
A candle lit.
A moment to sit down without rushing.

That’s usually where the real shift happens.

If Easter has completely crept up on you this year… you’re not the only one.

I’ve had so many people say they still haven’t sorted a gift yet, but don’t want to just grab something for the sake of it.

That’s exactly why I created our Easter Gift Box.

It’s simple, thoughtful, and ready to send, without the overthinking.

Delicious bean-to-bar chocolate,
A comforting cup of tea,
Wildflower seeds to grow,
And a seasonal Easter card to bring it all together.

Something that feels like a proper gift… even when you’ve left it a little last minute.

If you’ve still got someone to buy for, this is such an easy one to send 🌼 We're dispatching until Monday 30th March.
