The first step to healing is admitting that something in your life is hard to deal with alone and that something has hurt you in life.
In our work, even those who make it to counselling may stumble along the way and find it difficult.
Difficult to accept hurt.
Difficult to acknowledge things that have happened to them.
Difficult to work through the pain.
Difficult to process what has happened to them.
Difficult to work through and alter old beliefs and ideals.
Difficult to heal.
When you fully acknowledge and accept the hurt THEN the true healing can begin.
