Wired but tired is one of those things that’s a bit funny to explain but is easily felt.
It can feel like being exhausted yet not being able to switch off. Too tired to do anything but too wired to rest properly. Like when you finally stop, your mind speeds up.

Wired but tired is one of those things that’s a bit funny to explain but is easily felt.

You can understand a pattern and still keep repeating it.

That’s the frustrating part.

You can know exactly what’s going on.
You can see the cycle.
You can even catch yourself doing it.

And still, nothing really changes.

Because understanding it and shifting it aren’t the same thing.

That’s why insight on its own often isn’t enough.
Especially when whatever is driving the pattern sits deeper than logic.

Fear.
Pressure.
Resistance.
Burnout.
Old conditioning.
The weight attached to getting things right.

Sometimes people think they need more self-awareness.

Sometimes what they really need is help to actually shift what lies underneath.

The people who get the best results from this work are rarely the ones looking for a quick fix.Usually, they’re already ...

The people who get the best results from this work are rarely the ones looking for a quick fix.

Usually, they’re already trying.

They’ve thought about it, pushed themselves, tried to stay on top of things.

But the same patterns are still there.
Overthinking.
Stop-starting.
Procrastination.
Self-sabotage.
Internal resistance.

That’s usually the point where surface-level advice stops being enough.

The Empowered Reset is for people who are ready to look honestly at what’s happening and do the work to change it.

Not perfectly.

Something I’ve been noticing lately 🤍

Some of the most burnt out people I speak to are the ones who give the best advice about not burning out.
Therapists. Coaches. Healers. People who genuinely know what regulation looks like - and are running on empty anyway.

This is often what happens when you’re better at holding space for everyone else than you are at holding it for yourself.
It’s the awareness of the pattern that helps to change it.

Sometimes you don’t need more advice.
You need a reset.

When everything starts to feel overloaded, more thinking usually isn’t the answer.

Sometimes what helps most is feeling calmer in your body, clearer in your mind, and more like yourself again.

That’s why I offer Reset Intensive.

It’s a 75-minute 1:1 session for when things have started to feel heavy, noisy, or too much, and you need space to settle your system, clear some of the internal noise, and feel more like yourself again.

Not all procrastination is the same.

Sometimes it’s avoidance. Sometimes it’s fear, pressure, or burnout.
And sometimes it’s knowing the task matters too much, so everything in you resists it.

That’s why “just be more disciplined” is often useless advice.

Because if you don’t understand what’s actually driving the delay, you’ll usually reach for the wrong solution.

And yes, deadlines can get things moving.
But that doesn’t always mean the pattern is healthy. Sometimes it just means the deadline removed the option to keep avoiding it.

Reset Studio is my in-person class where you come in as you are and leave calmer, clearer, and more in your body.

Where: Unit 2, The Old Rowing Club, 20 Caskgate Street, Gainsborough

It doesn’t always look like lying in bed unable to move.
Sometimes it looks like:
• still getting everything done
• smiling and saying “I’m fine”
• carrying everyone else
• procrastinating on the things that matter most
• being exhausted underneath it all

What happens in a Reset Studio session? 🤍

A few people have asked what it’s like to come to Reset Studio, so here’s the simple flow.

Arrive + land
You’ll be welcomed into a calm space with low lighting, mats set out, and you can help yourself to a herbal tea / decaf hot drink before we begin. We start seated so your body has time to arrive.

Regulate the nervous system
We begin with gentle, guided regulation practices - breathwork + somatic tools that help the body come out of stress mode (without forcing anything).

The deeper reset
Then you can lie down on a mat (or stay seated) for a longer guided reset designed to help your system properly downshift and settle.

Integrate it so it lasts
We finish with a few quiet minutes of integration so you don’t just feel better in the moment - you leave feeling steadier, clearer, and more resourced for the days ahead.

No pressure to talk or share. Calm, held, and you’re always in control (you can move, open your eyes, sit up, or step out at any point).
