Today is Social Prescribing Day! There are many benefits to seeing a social prescriber, for more information or to see how a Social Prescriber can help you, pop into our next session on April 13th

Your local Social Prescriber will be holding drop sessions at the practice on the below dates.

A social prescriber (or link worker) connects people with non-medical community resources to improve their health and well-being, addressing social, emotional, and practical needs that affect their health, examples of this can be loneliness, debt, complex social needs and long term conditions.

If you would like to pop along to see how a social prescriber can help, please attend one of the sessions below.

Did you know...

Some cervical screening results are now being sent through the NHS App.

If your result is normal, you’ll receive it securely in the app.�You’ll still get a letter in the post if you don’t have the app, or if more tests are needed.

Here’s what to do:
1. Download the NHS App
2. Turn on notifications

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sandy and her therapy dogs, Lily and Duchy for visiting the practice, we have received lovely feedback about the positive impact a therapy dog can have.

Sandy and one of her therapy dogs will be attending practice every other Tuesday at 11am, the next visits are:

10th March 11am
24th March 11am
7th April 11am
21st April 11am
