We’ve been busy getting our garden summer-ready here at Grosvenor House Care Home 🌼☀️

With freshly mowed lawns and beautiful new bulbs planted, everything is starting to bloom just in time for the sunshine ahead. We can’t wait to enjoy the warmer days, filled with family visits, garden gatherings, and plenty of BBQs 🌿🍔

Roll on the summer season, it’s going to be a lovely one 💛

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Grosvenor House Care Home attended the Lincolnshire Care Association Awards last week, and we’re incredibly proud to say we came home with the Co-Producing Together Award! 🏆

Co-producing in health and social care means working in true partnership with the people we support, their families, and our team, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard and valued when making decisions about care and support. It’s all about collaboration, respect, and creating the best possible outcomes together.

We had a fantastic evening celebrating with our amazing team, and this award is a true reflection of their dedication, compassion, and hard work every single day.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff, residents, and families- this achievement belongs to all of you! 💜

We had a wonderful time at Grosvenor House today during our intergenerational session with Jack in the Box Musical Memories💛

We were even lucky enough to have a very special Easter visitor who brought a lovely gift for all the children 🐣🎁

There was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter, and most importantly, making special memories together across generations.

These sessions are a fantastic way to bring people together, helping to build confidence in children, reduce loneliness, and create meaningful connections for everyone involved.

Keep an eye out for our next session, they’re completely FREE and all the family are welcome. We can’t wait to see you there! 😊

🌭 Create Our Signature Sausage - Competition Time! 🌭

We’re excited to announce a fun and tasty competition here at Grosvenor House Care Home! In partnership with The Meatery, we’re inviting residents, families, and friends to help us create our very own signature sausage.

This is your chance to get creative - think bold, unique, or even a little wild with your flavour combinations! Whether it’s sweet, spicy, savoury, or something totally unexpected, we want to hear your ideas. The more combinations you suggest, the better!

Since 2016 the awards have celebrated the best in care in Lincolnshire and put the spotlight on those working on the front line of social care in the county.

Join us for our Dementia Café ☕

We warmly invite you to our friendly and supportive Dementia Café on Wednesday 1st April from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Grosvenor House Care Home.

Our café offers a safe, welcoming space for individuals living with dementia, their families, friends, and carers to come together, relax, and connect with others who understand.

✨ Benefits of attending a Dementia Café:

• Reduces feelings of isolation
• Provides emotional support and understanding
• Offers practical advice and shared experiences
• Encourages social interaction in a relaxed environment

The session will be led by our in-house trained counsellor, Phil, who has a wealth of experience supporting those affected by dementia.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be provided.

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day from everyone at Grosvenor House Care Home 🌸

Today we celebrated all the wonderful mums, grandmas and mother figures who mean so much to us. Everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea filled with delicious treats, warm conversations and special moments together. 💐☕

It was a beautiful afternoon spent with loved ones, sharing memories and celebrating the incredible women who have shaped our lives.
