Apologies to anyone who has tried contacting me through Facebook / Messenger.
I have been locked out for months!

I never thought I would be writing this post but the time has come for me to close this aerial business.
After a recent accident and a stay in hospital I decided I wasn't going to continue.
I have almost made a full recovery now. Thank you for all the cards and well wishes. Blessed x

Many thanks to all my customers over the past 20 years. I'm grateful for so many repeat customers. Too many electricians, roofers, joiners, letting agents, landlords etc. to mention but you know who you are.
I would especially like to thank Julian and the team at Aegir Electronics for all their support and the work over the past 16+ years. These guys offer a great service and are a real asset to the community. I will miss working with them.

Looking to the future I would like to work with a craftsman fitting kitchens and all things joinery.
If anyone is looking for a hard working apprentice get in touch.
From a young age I always enjoyed building things from wood. Hopefully I can find a role in this industry for my next chapter in life.

Another day as an aerial engineer, another day surrounded by wasps! Luckily I didn't get stung once even though I crawled past the nest a few times.

Credit to this guy from Pestcotek. Customer contacted him and he was there within half an hour. Gainsborough based.

Apologies to anyone having difficulty getting through to my phone. Signal has been awful the last two days. Calling is impossible. Text occasionally working. No voicemail service either.

So this morning at home my fridge freezer decided it didn't want to work anymore. Just great!!!
Thankfully my friends at Aegir Consumer Electronics came to the rescue. Delivered a new one instantly. On a Saturday! Very grateful to have this service in town. Thanks Julian.
Highly recommended local business who go above and beyond to serve their customers.

I never thought I'd have a customer requesting an aerial installed for a robotic lawnmower system. That's one of tomorrow's jobs. It's a first for me and I'm looking forward to seeing this gadget in action!

We do aerials. Even for robotic lawnmowers. 🤣

Minor TV disruption possible as signals tested at Emley Moor again next week.

People are being warned that their TV signals may be disrupted next week due to testing works at Emley Moor.

Following the successful completion of engineering works, Arqiva announced that all broadcast services are scheduled to return to the iconic tower next week.

But they say viewers may experience some short disruption to signals as they are tested from Monday 19th but do not need to take any action.

Following successful testing, the tower is then expected to return to service full-time from Wednesday, June 21.

Many people found they temporarily had no signal on their televisions last weekend, which was due to the work.

Arqiva says that, as was the case when the temporary mast took over broadcasting, there will be no change to viewers signals as the two structures are in close proximity and use the same channels and frequencies.

The temporary mast was required to enable engineers to undertake essential updates to the antenna on the tower as part of the nationwide project to clear some frequencies that were used for TV to be used for mobile data.

Following a successful switchover, work will begin to remove the broadcasting equipment from the temporary mast and then to remove the structure itself.

Removal is anticipated to begin in the autumn.
