Kim and her family have asked us to share Kenny's funeral arrangements which are as follows:

Peacefully on Monday 5 January 2026 at the Margaret Kerr Unit, Kenny, beloved husband of Kim and much-loved dad and papa.
A service will take place at Borders Crematorium on Thursday 22 January at 12 noon to which all are welcome.
There will be an opportunity as you leave the service to donate to the Margaret Kerr Unit, Borders General Hospital in memory of Kenny.

David’s family have asked us to share the arrangements for his funeral service which are as follows:

Peacefully at Borders General Hospital on Friday 2 January 2026, David, beloved husband of Brenda. Much loved dad of Sharon, John, William and Caroline. Dearly loved grandpa and brother.
Funeral will take place on Tuesday 20th January at 1pm at Borders Crematorium. All friends welcome. Family flowers only but there will be an opportunity as you leave to donate to Tourette Scotland and Friends of BGH in memory of David.

Today is a day of mixed emotions for the team. ‘Oor Janet’ has officially retired after 8 years with our work family.
She will be sorely missed but we wish her well in her next chapter of adventures.
We enjoyed a day in Edinburgh with cocktails, food and some music. Don’t let the ‘cup of tea’ photo fool you…that is no ordinary cuppa!
Enjoy your retirement Janet. With lots and lots of love from your work fam! Xx

Our office is now closed until Monday but we will be at the end of the phone for 24 hr help if required over the Christmas period.

Lovely afternoon at Langlee community Centre - Christmas lunch.
Thanks to Asda Galashiels for giving us the chocolate goodies to pass on a chocolate orange for everyone there and the selection boxes for the children from P2 at Langlee primary school. You did an amazing job today.
