The next Borders public holiday is Monday 5 May 2025.

Most community pharmacies will be closed.

In preparation for this please check your repeat prescriptions and order only what you need as soon as you can.

It’s also a good idea to stock up on common over-the-counter medications so that you are ready to deal with any common seasonal illnesses such as hay fever, coughs, indigestion or dehydration from sickness and diarrhoea.
