🌸🐣 Wishing you a peaceful Good Friday and a joyful Easter! 🐣🌸

As we reflect on Good Friday and prepare to celebrate Easter, may this season bring you calm, renewal, and little moments of joy (and maybe a bit of chocolate too! 💛).

Spring is a wonderful time to pause, breathe, and let your energy flow—just a gentle reminder from the world of TCM that small moments of self-care help restore balance and harmony.

How do you like to reset and recharge for spring?

Whether you’re spending today quietly, with family, or taking some time for yourself, I hope it’s a meaningful and uplifting one.

Spring has definitely been making itself known lately — a bit of sunshine, but plenty of wind too 🌬️☀️

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, spring is connected with the Wood element and the Liver system. It’s a time when energy in the body naturally wants to start moving again after the slower winter months.

Interestingly, wind is also considered an external factor in TCM that can affect the body. When it’s very windy outside, some people notice more headaches, irritation, or tightness in the neck and shoulders.

Acupuncture can help support the body during this seasonal shift by encouraging energy to move more smoothly, helping you feel calmer, clearer and more balanced.

If you’ve been feeling the effects of the season, you’re very welcome to get in touch. 🌿

🌿 Feeling Frustrated or Irritable This Spring? 🌿

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), these emotions are often linked to stagnant Liver Qi — energy that’s present but not flowing freely. You might notice:

Feeling agitated, tense, or quick to anger

Neck and shoulder tension, tight jaw, or headaches

Difficulty relaxing or feeling mentally “stuck”

Spring’s rising, expansive energy can sometimes make these feelings more noticeable, pushing constrained Liver Qi to the surface.

🌸✨ A Little Peek Into My Imagination ✨🌸

Sometimes I imagine myself as a big, juicy strawberry, full and brimming with energy, with tiny acupuncture needles gently floating out into the world. It’s a playful image, but it really captures how I feel when I’m doing this work — full of energy and gratitude for the opportunity to support others.

Being an acupuncturist is deeply meaningful to me. I love seeing how a session can touch someone’s heart, bring a sense of calm, and help them feel a little lighter or more balanced. Those moments are what make this work so rewarding, and why I enjoy it so much.

It’s about connection, presence, and sharing a little care — being able to contribute to someone’s wellbeing is truly a privilege. 🌿💚

P.S. This whimsical strawberry image was created with the help of AI!

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, tension or discomfort is often understood as a sign of stagnant Qi — when the body’s natural energy flow isn’t moving as smoothly as it could.

This ancient wisdom reminds us:
✨ When energy flows freely, the body may feel lighter and more balanced.
✨ When energy is restricted, feelings of tightness or discomfort can arise.

Acupuncture is traditionally used to support circulation and encourage the smooth flow of Qi, promoting relaxation and overall wellbeing.

🌿 Curious how this approach might support you?

🌿 One of the most inspiring messages I’ve received… 🌿

I actually received this testimonial a while ago, but I hadn’t found the right way to share it until now. With Jacqueline’s permission, I’m sharing it here — not just because it meant so much, but because it reminds me why I do what I do, and of the strength people carry through years of pain, stress, and uncertainty.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine work with the body, not against it. Everyone’s journey is unique, but stories like this show how powerful holistic care can be, especially when someone is ready for change and open to the process.

To Jacqueline: thank you for trusting me and for allowing others to find hope in your experience. ❤️

Jacqueline’s feedback:

“I decided to try acupuncture earlier this year after many years of debilitating migraines that left me bed bound for between 3 & 7 days a week. I was very nervous before my first appointment but Saule made me feel at ease & explained everything thoroughly. I found acupuncture to be the most relaxing treatment I have ever had. It reset my nervous system & immediately took away my stress. I noticed an immediate reduction in migraines & also in their severity when I did have one. I continued with sessions every 2/3 weeks & the improvement was more than I believed possible. It's now been about 3 months since I had a migraine! Even my GP is amazed at the results. After decades of chronic pain, I am no longer a chronic pain sufferer.
While this alone would be enough for me to highly recommend Saule & Healing Point Acupuncture, I didn't expect all the other benefits acupuncture & TCM have made to my life both physically & mentally. It has also improved my digestion, my quality of sleep, removed tension in my neck & shoulders & helped with night sweats due to the peri menopause. I feel like a new person & those around me can see it too. I can't thank Saule enough for giving me a better quality of life. I just wish I had discovered acupuncture sooner.”
