BORDERS SEXUAL HEALTH Borders Sexual Health is an NHS service providing FREE sexual health care in the Scottish Borders. All our services and treatments are FREE.

OUR CLINICS

• welcome men, women and young people of all ages
• provide services for lesbian women, gay men, bisexual and transgender men and women
• are confidential, even if you are under 16 years old
• offer advice on sexual health for men and women

OUR SERVICES OFFER

• advice on contraception
• a full range of contraceptives
• pregnancy tests, advice on termination (abortion), and if needed, referral for termination of pregnancy
• injectable contraception (Depo)
• IUCD (coil) and implantable contraception (Implant)
• male and female condoms
• C Card and C Card +

• emergency contraception
• advice on sexual health for men and women
• advice on PMS the menopause and HRT
• advice and referral for male & female sterilisation
• tests and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C & HIV
• care for people living with HIV
• vaccination for hepatitis B for people at risk through sexual contact


REFERRALS:

Referring yourself

You can refer yourself by contacting us on– 01896 663700

GP Referrals

Your GP can refer you to our service. Referrals can be sent by letter or by your GP asking you to attend one of our clinics. Most of our services are available in all of our clinics. For some services e.g. having an IUCD (coil) fitted we may ask you to attend another of our clinics at a later date for the procedure.
