This lovely old lady is staying with me at the moment and can be a little unsettled and anxious in the evenings. She selected Valerian to work with for around 30 minutes. Lots of inhaling, licking the air and yawning. She was quite desperate for it.

Valerian is a calming oil, a strong natural sedative and an anxiolytic, which means anti-anxiety.

There are additional oils that I could have offered but she was very happy to work with Valerian before she fell asleep and processed her remedy.

This lovely little boy was boarding with me and was very fearful. He is licking Violet Leaf from my hand which can be used for fear of the unknown. He is also using a synergy of behavioural oils inside his cage. Within a day, I had a much more confident and social boy ๐Ÿฅฐ

Right foreleg lameness

Nix returned home tonight unable to weight bare on her front right leg. She has worked with Birch Sweet for pain and German Chamomile for inflammation. For over an hour she has been working with Bitter Almond, possibly suggesting an infection.

Now the school holidays are over and my dog home boarding has quietened down, I can get back to concentrating on healing.

Floyd presented very lame on his back leg and I found a huge swollen lymph node and a big blister/cyst on the side of his paw. He was offered anti bacterial oils and green clay and within a couple of days the swelling had gone leaving a small point of entry from whatever had entered his foot.

Yesterday I visited lovely Loki, an 8 year old Podenco cross. Loki was rehomed 5 months ago and suffers a little with anxiety. He recently had a rash around his belly and ge***al area which formed as circular lesions. His vet treated with antibiotics which did clear it up but no cause was found. The main oils Loki worked with were Hops, Roman Chamomile and Bergamot. He also laid on his back and lifted his leg to allow French green clay to be applied to the area that was affected. The oils he chose suggest his rash was caused by his anxiety. He also selected Seaweed which he licked from my hand to help remove toxins from his body after the antibiotics. His owner, Katie, said this was the most relaxed state she had ever seen him in and after his session she sent me a photo of him fast asleep processing his oils. Katie will continue treating him herself daily after learning how to use the oils.

Buddy is 10 years old and has been suffering with itchy skin for years and is hairless in lots of places and his skin is thickened and cracked. He took steroids for a long time and then was put on Apoquel which is not working at all for him. I immediately smelled a ye**ty smell on him and began with green clay which he wanted applied everywhere, even inside his ears. He also licked a small amount of Spirulina. I offered him Melissa which is anti fungal and he worked well with this but his main oil was Lemongrass, which he fell asleep to, sadly awoken by needing to scratch. He then selected Orange Sweet and finished off his session with Orange Flower Floral water massaged all over him. During his session, his owner said the amount of scratching was greatly reduced compared to normal and he definitely brightened up. She will also offer him coconut oil to help his skin as this too is anti fungal.

We had a small session at the end with the Photizo red light therapy. Iโ€™m looking forward to watching his journey.

I am now able to offer Photizo Light Therapy alongside Applied Zoopharmacognsy. They compliment each other perfectly.

Photobiomodulation is therapeutic application of non-ionising photon energy below the level of thermal damage which stimulates cellular energy. Red and near infrared light is needed for cellular energy and sadly there's a lack of good sunlight in the UK!

Red and near infrared light, which is cold, acts on the mitochondria in our cells to stimulate cellular energy. Think of the mitochondria as a battery inside the cell which need charging. Cells cannot generate energy without locating a source in their environment. We get our cellular energy from non-processed food and the sun, which is the ultimate source of energy for almost all cells. Dr John Ott quotes that light is the medicine of the future as the body's fuel.

Our cells need energy to function and correct programming to function and heal properly and to regenerate when injured.

Photizo Light Therapy is perfect for treating the following:

Skin conditions: wounds, lacerations, abscesses, saddle sores, skin allergies, eczema, etc.

Musculoskeletal problems such as arthritis, tendonitis, overuse injuries and muscle spasms

Post op: any area treated surgically, including skin grafts.

Corneal ulcers, viral-related conditions and sinusitis.
