We came. We saw. We failed…

2016 β†’ 2026 ✨

Same girl. Very different chapter.

2016 me: just had my second baby, Bonnie 🀍
Doing okay on nursing mat leave but definitely feeling the pinch.
Jet black, long hair… and that very real Madonna gap I absolutely hated.
Riddled with anxiety at 26, health anxiety, trust issues, always on edge, never really at ease.

I looked fine on the outside, but inside I felt drained, anxious, and unsure of who I even was.

Now:
36. Calmer (ish). More certain. Still married.
A different kind of stress, work stress, but purpose driven, not fear led.
More grounded, more confident, and still learning how to live in the moment instead of racing ahead… in my head.

Still a work in progress (aren’t we all?), but wow… how time, growth, and a few hard lessons can change you.

I’ll take 36 year old me any day 🀍
