We have been told to stop prescribing some "OTC" (over the counter) medicines that can be bought cheaply from pharmacies and supermarkets to help sae costs to the NHS. The local NHS are spending £37m per year which could be spent on other services. Please see this website for more information:

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness month

NHS Bowel cancer screening kits are offered to everyone aged between 50 and 74

They can help find cancer early, before you even have any symptoms. The earlier cancer is found, the easier it can be to treat.

When you kit arrives, put it by the loo, don't put it off.
