🚨Important notice for patients🚨

Over the next few weeks, we will be carrying out a LOCKDOWN DRILL at the practice to test our lockdown procedure.

If you happen to be in the building at the time, please do not be alarmed, as this will only be a drill.

We are taking this step following a serious incident recently at another practice in Gateshead, where police and tasers were required to attend.

These drills are important in helping us make sure our procedures are effective and that we can keep both patients and staff as safe as possible.

🌟 We are delighted to welcome Dr Arvind Rajagopal to our practice on a permanent basis 🌟

Dr Rajagopal brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, including his previous roles as a GP Partner and a teacher of medical students. We are thrilled to have him join our team, and know our patients will benefit from his expertise, dedication, and compassionate approach to care. 👨‍⚕️💙

We are excited about the future and looking ahead to welcoming medical students into the practice, helping to support the training of the next generation of doctors, contributing to medical education. 🎓✨

Dr Rajagopal will be working Tuesdays and Fridays until June. From June onwards he will be working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 📅

Today we say a bittersweet, heartfelt farewell to our wonderful Practice Nurse, Sue, as she retires.

In her time with us, Sue has made a truly meaningful impact on our practice and on so many of our patients. She has been a warm, reassuring presence, always delivering care with kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. Her calm approach and friendly smile have meant a great deal to our team and to our community.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly grateful for the care and dedication she has shown during her time with us.

Please join us in wishing Sue a very happy and well-deserved retirement.
