All nominees were outstanding. Listening to their stories on how Slimming World has changed their lives was truly inspiring and emotional.

This is me ⬇️
The first pic is August 2021 and the second is August 2022. Only a year between photos but a different person on each. Im not talking about my appearance.. my confidence was quashed. I hated myself, I was in pain. I couldn’t control my eating habits.. Then in January 2022 I rejoined Slimming World (probably my 10th time!) within 6 months I lost 2 and a half stone, dropped 3 dress sizes and found my sparkle again 🩷

Meet my member 🩵
This is Jimmy from my Teams group. Jimmy joined us in January with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. He got off to a flying start with a 9 and a half pound weight loss. And last Saturday he acheived his 2 and a half stone award AND his Personal Achievement Target. (Hes since lowered his Target as its a members choice what their final goal is) In the last couple of months he no longer needs his BP meds and his diabetes is ALMOST REVERSED! His next appointment is November and we are hoping that it will then be totally reversed! Losing weight isnt just to make you look and feel better.. the health benefits are the most important! 😊 Well done Jimmy 🥳🥳

🥰Permission to share 🥰
This is Helen, my lovely Felling member. This week she couldn’t attend her usual group but came to my Teams group this morning.. Not only did she lose 6 and a half pound.. she also got her 4 and a half stone award!!! 🤩🥳👏
Helen is now only 4lb away from her Target, since joining me in February. Amazing eh? 🥹
