Anger is one of the most misunderstood, distorted and hijacked emotions. I have worked with women for around 15 years and what I can tell you is women have very little idea how to feel their anger. And it has huge implications over their health.
Neuroscience has now confirmed that repressing anger creates a chronically sensitised nervous system. A body that is in a chronic stress cycle - perpetually. Furthermore, this state leads to all sorts of physical symptoms like digestion and autoimmune disorders, pain, fatigue and tension..
We need healthy and RELATIONAL access to our anger not just for our health, but for our vitality, relationships and ability to heal from stress, trauma and abuse.

The truth is, most of us don’t even know what anger really is. We confuse it with pain and violence, which perpetuates the avoidance. When in truth anger is fierce love, fierce compassion. It is our inner Ally, wisdom and clarity. Connection to this life-force energy within us, is life-changing.
Social conditioning has yet again created a paradigm where women are kept at arm’s length from their own innate power. Quite strategically, may I add. Heaven forbid a woman who is deeply in touch with her inner ferocity.

This isn’t about catharsis.
This isn’t about punching a pillow.
This isn’t about purging or ‘releasing’ your anger.
This isn’t about getting ‘underneath’ the anger.
This is deeply grounded Relational work.
Gentle on the nervous system.
