🩸 What Is PRP?
1️⃣ Blood Draw
A small amount of your blood is taken (like a regular lab test).
2️⃣ Centrifuge Spin
The blood is placed in a machine called a centrifuge that spins it very fast.
This separates:
• Red blood cells
• Platelet-poor plasma
• Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) ← the healing part
3️⃣ Injection
The concentrated PRP is injected into the injured or targeted area.
4️⃣ Healing Response
Platelets release growth factors that:
• Stimulate tissue repair
• Reduce inflammation
• Promote collagen production
• Encourage new blood vessel formation
