Social connection matters, especially after life-changing experiences such as an acquired brain injury (ABI). Unfortunately, social isolation is a common experience for many individuals following an ABI.
Our Getting Connected group brings together people who have experienced an ABI and are seeking social connection, a greater understanding of their injury, and a sense of belonging.
The group has a strong focus on promoting meaningful connections, facilitating peer support, and creating opportunities for people to engage with others who have shared experiences. Take a look at our information video below for more details about the group.
If our Getting Connected group sounds like something someone you support might benefit from, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch via info@speechtherapynortheast.co.uk
