Gateshead Recovery Partnership

We believe that everyone has the ability to change.

Anybody can be affected by drug and/or alcohol use, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, beliefs, class, age, sexuality, disability or lifestyle. If you have concerns about drugs and alcohol we can help.

We provide confidential information, advice, treatment options and support for all adults and communities across Gateshead.

Recovery starts the moment we receive a referral. Service users engaged in a Strength based assessment, are assigned a Recovery Coordinator and together compose an agreed care plan of actions and support to guide their treatment and recovery journey. Service users have access to 1:1 support to meet personal needs as well as attending structured development programmes. There is opportunity to access detox and rehab whilst seeking support from service trained Ambassadors through their recovery journey.
