We were approached by the production team last week asking for one of our lovely members to join Ben and Cat on the sofa to commemorate the 81st Anniversary of VE Day. Betty Withers, who turns 101 next week, will be representing our Association and no doubt sharing some great stories.

Betty has already been to 10 Dowling Street this week with the RNA and had a fabulous time.

A huge thank you to the Commercial Legal Services team at Sage, led by Mark Parry, who put their own spin on a bake sale, doing a team building activity to make chocolate for our Veterans at Ease Gateshead shop to sell. The Canny Chocolate in South Shields trained this lovely team on the art of chocolate making. All proceeds from the sales will go directly to support our mental health services. Together we can save a Veterans life ...

SHOUT OUT to all our wonderful followers. Do any of you based in the North East have 4 or 5 small round plastic tables and around 20 to 25 plastic chairs we can borrow for an outdoor event please around mid-May?
