Choose a Fully Qualified Therapist – Your Wellbeing Matters
When seeking help, your choice of therapist makes all the difference. Sadly, the industry is unregulated, meaning many people calling themselves therapists have only completed short online courses and lack deep psychological understanding. They simply don’t have the training to truly support you.
Worse still, some practitioners use clever tactics: they offer a “free consultation” to draw you in, then convince you that you need many expensive, ongoing sessions, even when one is enough. This isn’t therapy – it’s a business model designed to keep you paying.
Always check credentials. Look for someone with at minimum a BSc in Psychology, proper professional training, and a proven track record of delivering results in a single session. Avoid free consultations entirely – they are often the first step in a sales process. Choose expertise, integrity, and real results.
